With the India–Oman CEPA entering into force today, a stronger framework is now in place to support the next phase of economic engagement between the two countries. The Agreement will help unlock new avenues for trade, investment and business collaboration, while building on the longstanding partnership between India and Oman.
As businesses across sectors prepare to leverage the opportunities created by the CEPA, the Agreement is expected to drive greater economic activity, strengthen regional connectivity and contribute to a more resilient and future-ready trade relationship.

The visit reflects the continued focus on developing PM MITRA Parks as world-class integrated textile manufacturing ecosystems driving investment, employment generation, and sustainable industrial growth.
She further stressed regular monitoring through photography, drone documentation, audits, and material testing, while ensuring optimal industrial land utilization.
Officials informed that key water and electricity infrastructure works are nearing completion, while internal development including plot leveling, over 10 km of roads, and electrical systems is progressing rapidly.
She also called for proposals for an ESIC Hospital and an R&D Centre before full-scale production begins, enabling product development and sampling within the park ecosystem.
Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, emphasized textile value chain skilling through a separate ITI, along with stronger raw material availability, investor facilitation, and improved rail connectivity.
