Last minute @SundayShare10 is inspired by Roberto De Zerbi's build-up principles. Players must decide when to increase tempo and play through the opposition. Lots of opportunities to coach weight/accuracy of pass and body shape.

@Zonal_Marking @zenoultra Can't do three, but Spain have been outscored on xG against France, Germany and Croatia in the group stages.
They have dominated their other games on xG and they clearly appear a lot better, but surprised the last two games have gone under the radar xG wise
Through-balls and runs in behind was topic I found really interesting to explore in more detail than I had before.
Range of ideas in a blog I wrote a while ago, which also has links to some other great resources that helped inspire it.

This week's @SundayShare10 is designed to work on players' combination play and runs in behind.
It's part of a longer blog I wrote a while ago on this idea, inspired by @ReneMaric amongst others: https://t.co/HgNc2ATXXJ

@officialsje1@SundayShare10@TheS_Resource@CoachingFamily I should've made clearer. As a progression you can remove the punishment when the CBs play forwards into the top zone on their weaker side.
Fulham's CBs are both left footed, so remove punishment if they pass into the right side of the top zone, encouraging them to do it more.

First @SundayShare10 in a long time: At a CPD day we were challenged to design a session for two left-footed CBs, based on Fulham's pairing vs Liverpool. Progression encourages play to their weaker side.

@classic1sport1 @ideas_education@SundayShare10@TheS_Resource@CoachingFamily Yeah, essentially this. As a progression you can remove the punishment when the CBs play forwards into the top zone on their weaker side.
Fulham's CBs are both left footed, so remove punishment if they pass into the right side of the top zone, encouraging them to do it more.
In the discussion that followed, a variation was considered which would allow full-backs to be more involved, by changing the shape of the pitch.

The set up can be used to work on a variety of topics, including 3rd player movement.
I included one in a longer blog, with 15 practice ideas in total, including 2v2s, SSG, Match based and a finishing pattern. Inspired by a range of sources #SundayShare

This week's @SundayShare10 is a simple game inspired by Thomas Tuchel, focusing on the final 3rd and crosses into the box.
I used a different variation of the same idea to work on 3rd player movement: https://t.co/PcRhMlPgf5

The original idea was from Chelsea's training session before the 2021 Champions League Final, which can be watched in full below #SundayShare

Another late @SundayShare10 that's hopefully just in time! A breakout game to help players work on through-balls and runs in behind.

Put a more detailed explanation of this practice and a couple of the variations in a short blog post. I also included a practice to encourage high-pressing within a small sided game #SundayShare

A very late @SundayShare10 (as always) is inspired by teams in the Red Bull network and designed to help players work on their ability to press. Creates a lot of opportunities to coach both the pressing and covering units.

@442_DMac@SundayShare10 Thanks. There is a bit of inflexibility because of that, which is definitely a trade-off. The idea is that because they can't receive a pass from someone in the same colour, they are forced to think about the 'next' pass/3rd player movement, while also looking to create chances
This week's @SundayShare10 is an attack vs defence practice focused on third player movement that requires players to think about the 'next' pass. A really important topic and the conditions highlight it for players while they build an attack #SundayShare
