@Teeniiola Tradition or not this is a precedence for this act to continue once they have tasted the sovereignty over a woman all in the name of culture it begins to give way for young boys to continue with the act. โThe taste of sinโ has repercussions. This is heartbreaking and disgusting.
Following our visit to the courts in Lafia, the PPDC team proceeded to the Ministry of Justice, where we were warmly received by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State.
Led by our CEO, Lucy James Abagi @lucydavis2012 , the visit served as both a congratulatory courtesy to the newly appointed AG and a strategic engagement to deepen collaboration on justice sector reform. Accompanied by senior management and representatives from Devon Technologies, we shared updates on the progress of our digitisation efforts across the state.
From deploying AI-powered speech-to-text systems that deliver real-time court transcriptions, to supporting virtual court sessions for high-risk cases and offering paralegal services to pre-trial detainees, our work continues to transform how justice is delivered in Nasarawa. We also highlighted the success of our partnership with the Ministry, which has included deploying case management systems, training over 100 prosecutors, and reactivating the Police Duty Solicitor Scheme across 10 police divisions.
We are grateful for the Attorney Generalโs strong endorsement of our work and his assurance of the Ministryโs commitment to sustaining and expanding these reforms. Together, we move closer to building a justice system that is transparent, efficient, and accessible to all.

WaterWide Mourns the Loss of Our Founder
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved founder and visionary, Wilson Atumeyi, who lost his brave battle with a brain tumor on 1st of April, 2025.
Wilson was more than just a founder he was the heart of WaterWide. He devoted his life to the mission of ensuring clean and safe water for rural and marginalized communities across Nigeria. His passion, sacrifice, and commitment shaped every step weโve taken as an organization.
