From a GTU student: "Some students are not able to login with the id password, Some students portal does not show any id password. Instead it says that you have not paid the exam fees yet."

The decision of the HRD Ministry of Union Govt, and the UGC is absolutely absurd and probably from an alternate universe. I urge UGC to not make this a silly issue of egos and realise that lakhs of lives of students, teachers, non teaching staff are at stake. (1/n)

The University Grants Commission (UGC) is likely to release new guidelines for the university and college examinations today. Speculations are rife that the final year exams would be scrapped. Nothing official yet. On standby till then! #UGC

@golanihemant This is not the right time to conduct the exam. Everyday as many as 18000 cases are reported. In this difficult time, it’s hard to understand what GTU wants to prove by taking exam offline. Right now everybody’s main concern is safety , safety of themselves and their family.
