BREAKING: The S&P 500 Equal-Weight Index outperformed the S&P 500 by +5.7 percentage points in October, its largest monthly outperformance since April 2009.

This also marked its 2nd-largest monthly outperformance since the 1990s.

The Equal-Weight Index surged +4.8% in October, while the S&P 500 fell -0.9%.

Year-to-date, the Equal-Weight Index has gained +13.9%, exceeding the S&P 500's +10.7% return as technology stocks lag the broader market.

Robert and I are thrilled that our gift of over 2 million shares of SpaceX stock will be distributed to children’s Trump accounts in December!

Our initial gift (shares transferring to escrow as we speak) will go to 11 to 17-year-olds who live in zip codes with median family income (MFI) of $57,000 or less, and to those who live in zip codes with too few residents for an MFI to be reported in the census. These families should receive a notice by Monday. 

In a few weeks, an additional gift will be finalized for eligible 11 to 17-year-old children in military families serving overseas, children in foster care, and more children whose MFI is $90,000 or less living in counties near our home in the great state of Texas.

PRINTED QUANTUM CHIPS ARE COMING?!

ONE MOLECULE NOW STORES QUANTUM INFORMATION AND SENDS IT AS LIGHT.

NVision, a German quantum startup, just published a single molecule in Nature that does two jobs at once: it stores quantum information and sends it out as light.

That matters because the hard part of scaling quantum computers isn’t building one qubit. It’s connecting thousands of them, most designs pack qubits tightly onto one chip, which creates interference and heat problems. Qubits that talk through light can be linked across a chip, or acr a room.

The qubit is an engineered carbon-based molecule. NVision designed more than 150 candidates on computers and made 40 in the lab.

Here’s the part that could change manufacturing. NVision says the molecules can be laid down as thin films, the same way OLED screens are made, directly onto photonic chips. It’s partnering with HyperLight to do exactly that.

It still runs at 2 to 4 degrees above absolute zero, although that’s far warmer than the near-absolute-zero temperatures superconducting qubits need. Prototype chips are expected by the end of this year, and the on-chip demo is still a target. NVision’s announcement also didn’t include the coherence or fidelity numbers that would show how good these qubits really are.

Quantum computers have been built from superconductors, trapped ions, atoms and light. Now add chemistry.

No, the AI Revolution is not "over," and the market is not "going to zero."

In fact, the Nasdaq 100 is up +11% YTD and nearly +70% since its April 2025 low.

Meanwhile, the S&P 500 is currently set to post a blended earnings +30.2% growth rate for Q3 2026.

This puts us on track for the third-straight quarter of earnings growth above 25%.

And, even after the biggest hack in crypto history, Bitcoin is down less than -5% this week.

Disruptive technologies like AI will inevitably bring heightened volatility, polarized positioning, and extreme swings in market sentiment.

However, do not let short-term volatility overshadow the broader picture.

We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in history.

Technical corrections are healthy, necessary, and an inevitable part of every bull market.

Do not lose sight of the bigger picture.
