Pediatric cancers comprise a simultaneously rare but highly varied cadre of diseases. Among participants with non-central nervous system tumors in the PPCR, rhabdomyosarcoma (n=366), Ewings sarcoma (n=193), and neuroblastoma (n=177) are the most common.

Meet the team! Torunn Yock, MD, is the Director of Pediatric Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Professor at Harvard Medical School. She is also the Primary Investigator for the Pediatric Proton/Photon Consortium Registry (PPCR)!
Dr. Yockโs research career has focused on measuring health outcomes to further improve upon cure rates and the quality of survivorship in pediatric cancer patients. Her research has focused on the role of proton radiotherapy.
