Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) successfully test-fired the #ASTRA Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) from the LCA AF MK1 prototype off Chandipur, Odisha today. The missile achieved a direct hit on a flying target, validating its advanced guidance & #navigationsystems.

Developed by @DRDO_India, ASTRA can engage targets beyond 100 km with pinpoint accuracy. This success marks a crucial step towards the LCA AF MK1A induction.
