6 months later, my spice challenge is complete! The last few spices were especially challenging because I had to keep buying new spices to use up spices I already had. But it was so much fun I think I might do it all over again!

Over halfway on my spice challenge, and starting to get into the weird stuff. If anyone has recipes that use pomegranate molasses, caraway seeds, asafoteda, dried limes or black rice vinegar I will gratefully try them...!

@FSkornia True, that's different to the UK where the national curriculum is set by the government (which comes with it's own issues!)

@FSkornia It seems to be more of a hot button issue in the US than UK, so I'm interested in your opinion

@FSkornia ... that makes other areas of the application stronger and interviews easier. So the case for making college admissions more egalitarian by removing test score requirements seems more complex than first glance. (obviously I'm British though, so missing personal perspective here!)
