Insightful publication on the 75th birthday of the NHS. Anyone that understands the importance of the NHS really should watch. #nhs#privatisation https://t.co/mpHhQdiHYb
Read our update on our innovative access model providing 120-140 clinical triages per day and high patient satisfaction, excellent staff satisfaction and early diagnosis for the more severe conditions. https://t.co/7ZWFqtvnT5
I’m not against any Consultant AHP roles, they’re not new and they are usually paid at band 8+ BUT I do disagree with AHPs being told to work at an equivalent level of a medical consultant, which is absolutely not what the role is meant to do 🤦🏻♀️ (1/2)
In response to anyone describing the NHS as a ‘bottomless pit’- that’s a fallacy created by people who do not want it to continue.
The service was judged to be the best in the world in 2014 and 2017, and finally slipped to 4th in 2021.

Incredibly concerning graph especially when some are spinning there are more doctors in primary care
Patients up, qualified GP doctors down (and I suspect complexity up as well) - not a good combination
This was so shocking and disgusting. Is it risk to give diversity info? 'Chinese/Japanese types', 'Dark Skinned European Types' and 'Negroid Types' - an archaic and offensive term from the colonial era of the 1800s that refers to people of African descent. https://t.co/iYt1APeD88
Waiting for the police to arrive on site as a patient has threatened my safety, has been into the building 3 times, found my car and photographed it. Does make you think why this vocation #nhs#zerotolerance
@NottsLMC@drcartersingh Thank you @NottsLMC and @drcartersingh plus everyone who has reached out locally and farther afield. Amazing support. We are all doing fine. Well supported by the police and the team here have been amazing. Thank you again. Bw
Thank you everyone for the amazing messages of support. The police were amazing. Looked after all our team and everyone is fine. My thanks to the local #police and my thanks to my amazing team who are truely the best team I have worked with period.
I haven’t read the article but this is terrifying if it has any substance behind it. Patients should be very concerned. Med school and years of training gets me to capable. Medicine is not a career to just step into. Not without adverse patient outcomes. #nhs
The ‘Plan’ is just a recognition of the problems
Workload - Retention - Burnout
No extra funding to recruit & retain
Only 2.7% increase £ this year but 10% increase in costs
Of massive concern is the spin on GP numbers in the report
2000 fewer fully trained GPs not more
Dear general public - sorry we (GPs/primary care/NHS) can’t offer service you would like or need - we are working at 120% & demand outstripping supply - every practice is short staffed & under funded. New IT/phone lines might help a bit. But unescapable fact just not enough GPs
