External agent or box-copilot?
CRA reporting is live — ENISA’s SRP too. 24h/72h; AEV final ≤14 days after a fix or mitigating measure. No API at launch — last step is a person on a form. Products already on the market are in scope after 11 Sep. As at 14 Sep 2026.
Day 11 building the Figma for hardware until somebody invests in it.
More and more we’re seeing personal devices, and one of the most important things is portability. Today I’m studying attachment systems: holes, metal eyelets, loops, bridges, recessed anchors and strap lugs.
The whole system is parametric, so I can change the opening, wall thickness, position, protrusion, materials and how each attachment becomes part of the device itself.
I like this one because carrying hardware sounds like a small detail, but it can completely change how a personal device is meant to live with you.
Day 10 building the Figma for hardware.
I guess vibe hardware it’s a thing now.
Today I’m studying magnetic connectors: recessed contacts, pogo pins, magnets, alignment, tolerances and how the two sides actually meet.
The whole system is parametric, so I can change the contact layout, magnet position, spring travel, cable geometry and even test misalignment, magnetic capture and disconnection.
I like this one because a connector looks like a tiny detail, but once you can design its geometry and behavior together, it can completely change how a device is meant to connect, charge or expand
FCC 26-50 Final Rule is in the Federal Register. Effective 13 Oct 2026: Covered List logic-bearing parts can block new device auth even when an EU shop designed the rest. Pending apps that day are exempt — until a logic-part amendment. Prior auth not revoked. As at 11 Sep 2026.
Industry chatter, not a rule. The AI-hardware noise is enterprise EDA agents. For a micro shop the test is agent plus KiCad (or a harness) that keeps schematic, BOM, and revision from drifting. If it cannot fail closed, it is a faster respin.
EU Cyber Resilience Act: reporting starts 11 Sep 2026, not only Dec 2027. CSIRT + ENISA via the single reporting platform. 24h/72h from becoming aware; final report ≤14 days after a fix is available. Covers in-scope products placed before 11 Dec 2027. As at 7 Sep 2026.
3 Sep US drone tariffs: 100% over 25 kg, thermal, or docking; 25% at or under 25 kg without thermal. On Blue UAS or FCC Conditional Approval on 2 Sep, that date moves to 9 Feb 2027. As at 31 Aug 2026. None of the relief is automatic.
Two programmes, not one feature: wellness product ≠ clinical path. Price the second before the US slide promises diagnostic AI.

We love a Posh unboxing. But sometimes a sticky note beats the whole production. Mine came with 'Haaland the best!' scribbled inside. Cost nothing. Made the moment unforgettable. That's customer service. @apricorn_info#DataSecurity#Encryption#CustomerExperience
A Robot That Walks, Rolls, Flies, and Thinks 🤖🚀
Why choose between wheels, legs, or propellers when you can have them all? Caltech’s M4 (Multi-Modal Mobility Morphobot) is redefining what robots can do. Designed to adapt on the fly, M4 can:
🔹 Roll like a car on flat surfaces
🔹 Walk like a quadruped over rough terrain
🔹 Lift itself up to climb obstacles
🔹 Fly like a drone when the ground is impassable
With AI-driven decision-making, it switches between modes in real-time, making it a game-changer for search-and-rescue, space exploration, and disaster response.
This is more than a robot—it’s a glimpse into a future where machines don’t just move, they adapt.
What other everyday machines should be reimagined this way?
