I need to make a million dollars soon so that I can go bird watching. So, ya, i better make that money. Wish me luck.
I told you mine.
What's your reason?

I am waiting for the @SpaceX IPO to crash markets so that I can buy biotech and pharma companies at a discount.
AIxBio will have a much bigger impact on on society than any other technology in human history. For example, personalized cancer vaccines, reverse aging, etc. The next decade is gonna be wild.
I built an AI that runs real mock interviews — recruiter screen, hiring manager, the whole loop.
Paste the job description → it grills you on that role → you answer out loud → it coaches you on what to fix.

Everyone is worried about AI taking their jobs. I'm worried about AI overlords controlling access to AI.
Today @AnthropicAI decides who gets access to bio and cyber capabilities.
Tomorrow whoever controls AGI decides what you can and cannot do.
That's a pretty fucking dangerous path.
Say no to #AIOverLords
@Meta spent years perfecting the art of capturing attention. Now it's interesting to see them encouraging users to put the phone down.
Just as companies in the 1940s and 1950s gradually accepted responsibility for worker safety and well-being, today's tech giants are being forced to reckon with their impact on attention, mental health, and daily life.
Infinite scrolling may have been good for engagement metrics and the stock price, but healthy users and long-term trust are ultimately better for society and probably better for business too.
A small feature, but an important signal.
For first time in 5 years, I am considering diversifying a major chunk of crypto portfolio into equity markets. AI is extremely power hungry and BTC network has to compete for the same compute and energy infra. I do not see a major crypto catalyst in next 2 yrs.
Change my mind.
Just wrapped up demoing https://t.co/tQSMesv28U at Toronto Tech Week 🔥
Got some killer early feedback from founders, recruiters & job seekers.
While tools like @aiapplyco spam 100s of jobs hoping something sticks… they’re actually destroying your success rate.
ATS systems are getting smarter. Mass applications = spam flags. Burned credibility. Ghosted forever.
Job Panda does the opposite: high-signal applications to roles that actually fit. Quality > quantity.
Early access dropping soon. Want in?

Canada’s government basically ran on “If they’re winning, I must be losing.”
That zero-sum mindset? It’s the Pie Fallacy. The rich aren’t stealing your pie. They’re usually the ones baking bigger pies for everyone.
Canada didn’t enter a technical recession because “the rich” took too much. It happened because high taxes, heavy regulation, anti-business policies, and weak productivity growth made the whole buffet stop expanding.
When you punish success and make it harder to build, invest, and take risks — the pie shrinks for everybody.
Stop licking empty plates. Start encouraging more bakers.

@karpathy Anthropic is starting to look like Real Madrid in the mid-2000s. Just pulling in all the AI legends and CTOs as Members of Technical Staff. Anthropic building an absolute super-team right now. 🚀
