ARFC is purely conventional in terms of its arsenal, command and given task. NSFC will be the sole force dealing with nuc in all aspects. Indian Army has raised similar command akin to ARFC few years back; Pakistan has just responded in a similar fashion to reestab deterrence

Rocket force has a separate command and control structure. It has a separate authorisation chain, which is completely distinct and different from the nuclear forces.

For Pakistan to ensure that it retains escalation dominance in such a conflict, in non-contact warfare, survivability is all we need. After a couple of rounds, as we saw last time, in May 2025, the ladders of escalation were really compressed in time.

Indians raised these forces quite early, their rocket divisions were raised way back, decades back. So, for Pakistan ,this is basically a quiver in the arsenal of deterrent stability in South Asia and ensures conventional deterrence.

Dr. Naeem Ahmed Salik, delivered the welcome remarks. General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, NI(M), (Retd), Former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) delivered the keynote address. Air Cdre Khalid Banuri, SI, SI (M), Advisor Training, Air HQ, spoke as a guest speaker, and Lt. Gen Sarfraz Sattar HI(M), Advisor NCA, delivered the concluding remarks, followed by an interactive Q/A session. Faculty members and young students from different universities also attended the event.

India conducted nuclear tests on 11 May 1998 at 3:45 pm as announced by PM Vajpaee in a press statement declaring India a nuclear weapons state. The Buddha smiled 24 years earlier but this time removed his vail and showed true face of Shakti.
