A proud moment for Pakistan’s sporting legacy. @PakinBrussels hosted the Pakistan National Hockey Team during their visit to Belgium for the FIH Pro League.
The Ambassador @rahimhayat appreciated the team’s dedication and recalled Pakistan’s illustrious hockey history, including our four Hockey World Cup titles. He underscored the role of national teams in projecting Pakistan’s positive image globally and conveyed best wishes for the upcoming matches and the Hockey World Cup, co‑hosted by Belgium & the Netherlands in August.
Head Coach Manzoor‑ul‑Hassan and Captain Ammad Shakeel Butt shared the team’s preparations, high spirits and strong resolve to bring pride to Pakistan.
Members of the Pakistani community also joined the event, warmly welcoming and encouraging the national team.

Pakistan has successfully won the election, and secured nomination to the WCO Policy Commission for 2026–2028 during the WCO Regional Head of Customs Meeting in Hong Kong.

This marks Pakistan Customs’ first ever representation on the Policy Commission in nearly 70 years of WCO membership since 1955.

The successful outcome reflects sustained diplomatic engagement by the Mission, Amb @rahimhayat and Pakistan Customs’ Permanent Mission to the WCO under Syed Asad Raza Rizvi @asadrizvi.

Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels marked Pakistan Day with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony today. Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi @rahimhayat hoisted the national flag, paying tribute to our founding fathers and the sacrifices of our martyrs.
In his remarks, the Ambassador reaffirmed Pakistan's enduring commitment to regional peace and stability, the fight against terrorism, and steadfast support for the people of IIOJK. He also highlighted the vital Pakistan-EU partnership and the constructive role of Pakistani diaspora across Europe.
The ceremony brought together members of the Pakistani community, including business leaders, journalists, students and other representatives. Prayers were offered for the continued progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
