Today we concluded the 3rd edition of Annual Conference of Consuls Generals (ACCG-III). Apart from stock taking, we discussed further reorienting and channelizing our efforts  to help achieve national development goals: by prioritizing investment mobilization & trade enhancement; by integrating investment & trade work with technical and vocational training; by scaling up educational, research and buisness cooperation especially in new technologies. We also discussed ways to further improve our consular and community services;  to add further value to our public diplomacy work & provincial, think tank, media and cultural outreach. We are now finalizing the annual plan of action setting out milestones across various work streams to be achieved collectively next year.

第三届总领事年度会议今日圆满收官。在总结过往工作的同时，我们重点探讨了如何调整工作重心、汇聚多方力量，以更好服务国家发展目标：通过优先推动投资促进与贸易升级；将投资贸易工作与技术职业培训相结合；扩大产学研合作尤其是在新技术领域。会议还就提升领事侨务服务水平、增强公共外交效能、深化与地方政府、智库、媒体及文化机构联动等议题进行研讨。目前我们正在完善年度行动计划，为明年的各项工作设定具体里程碑。
