@AGrumpyScotsman Other than this one very important distinction, I agree 100%. Not everyone wants to be a gamer or likes playing games at all, and that is ok, too. Simply trying a game out doesn't mean you are a gamer. But it could make you one. There are no gates. Games extend beyond videogames.

@AGrumpyScotsman I think it is important to say that the term gamer means something different to everyone. It redefines itself as it goes. Simply playing a game doesn't make you a gamer. That is silly. Getting enjoyment/fulfillment from playing games, and so you play them, makes you a gamer.

The leak about Final Fantasy 9 was likely about WOTV. It's possible that someone was not aware there was a MOBA game. It's my favorite game, dont get me wrong; I'd love for it to be true. I'm pretty sure someone just saw the trailer for the WOTV FF9 event and got excited. CBTST
