🏚️ Brooklyn Brownstone
❌Bought in 2001 with an active DOB violation that remains open.
❌C/O says 5 units, but James filed mortgages + permits claiming 1–4 units.
❌Used this to qualify for federal mortgage aid she likely didn’t qualify for.

🛑 Scaffolding Violation
❌Marked hazardous in 2007.
❌Unresolved for 7 years, quietly reduced from $2,000 to $500.

💸 Unpaid Taxes
❌Owed nearly $10K in property taxes and water bills while serving in City Council.

🏠 Virginia Property
❌Declared a new home as her “principal residence” in 2023—while serving as NY Attorney General and registered to vote in Brooklyn.
❌Omitted key mortgage debts from her NYS disclosures.

📜 1983 Queens Filing
❌Claimed her father was her “husband” on loan paperwork—helping secure a mortgage. (Credit: @JoelSGilbert for finding Queens filing))

📉 Disclosure Gaps
❌ Mortgages that exist but were never disclosed.
❌Others that appear in disclosures but not in public records.
❌Debt-to-value ratios up to 272% on underreported properties.
