I remember when having food stamps was shameful and was only temporary to get back on our feet. Now I see people dressed better than me with fresh hair,makeup,and gold jewelry paying with EBT for a cart full of steaks,lobster,shrimp, and junk food while I work my ass off and have some ground beef and taco fixings paying with money that I actually worked for. This system is so corrupt.

Yeah, if you buy all the ingredients to makes something at home from scratch like spaghetti,chili , or etc. You’re looking at at-least $30-$50 per meal with 3 kids and with no leftovers. The meat alone is $15, once you buy the necessary 3-5 more ingredients it’s roughly around $30 or more.

@FrunkToTrunk Luckily for me charging is free. The owner of my company allowed me to install a wall connector. I plug in daily and only consume $30 a month at most. Not like he cares. The CNC machines we run cost him 5k a month. So an extra $30 makes him laugh.

@emraslnn TV’s are cheap. $500 for a 65” these days. It’s not worth having problems with family. It sucks but it is what it is. Kids make mistakes and parents can’t always afford the damages. Yes he is responsible for his son’s damages but I would just let it go.
