😡😡😡😡😡💔💔💔💔💔24 Thoroughbreds have come in to one of the TX lots and all are reported to be from the same place. 10 have been identified so far. The majority are mares. This is a disgrace and should have been preventable no matter which way you look at it. If the JC and Industry would have provided the funds and put programs in place a long time ago like we have advocated for for years that would circumvent things like this from happening.
❓Who is going to help these poor innocent horses that have now been thrust in to the slaughter pipeline? What are you going to do about this JC & Industry? These are the ones identified so far:

Some days are harder than others. Today is a hard day. Everyone is doing so good, but I am struggling. I hate begging for money. Hate.

It’s painful to watch horses sell for $2.3 million like it’s nothing and I’m over here begging for .002 percent of that just to feed the ones the industry doesn’t seem to care about. But I care, and I know so many of you do, too. Yet too many who can help don’t. And won’t. 

I try to stay positive, but sometimes it’s hard and today I feel blue. 

Today is the 16th of the month and we are so far away from our April hay goal it’s scary. In ten days we’ll be gearing up for May. I am out of personal resources and If I can’t raise this money I can’t have more hay delivered and we need some for two pastures today. Oh and the hay room is whittling down, we have a day left in here,

If things don’t improve and quickly I have to make some very sad and scary personal choices. I don’t want to be the next sanctuary to go belly up, but I am painfully close to it.

The good news is these faces don’t know, they are just happy for what we do have left to give them. But I don’t know where they’ll go if I can’t feed them.

We haven’t received and we are still stalled at $2,207.97 raised for our April fundraiser so far. Today is the 15th of the month.

We are shooting for $6,000 this month and now 16 days into the month in we have $3,892.03 to go to get to goal.

We are always so grateful for everyone’s support. And as always every donation is tax deductible.

😊❤️👉 Update! We have reached goal for TB mare April. A total of $1925 was raised. We just got her picked up from the lot a little while ago. She is on her way to STES and quarantine. The Powers that Be in the industry did not save her, they let her down like they have so many before her in her situation.
It was a very close call for her but she is now safe and will be taken care of. 🙏❤️👉A big thank you to all of you out there that shared, cared and donated for this poor mare to help us get her safe. And a grateful thank you to Jen & STES for giving April a home.
We hope to be able to decipher her tattoo to identify her soon. Her life matters. All thoroughbreds lives matter.

🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨👉Sadly we knew when we had to put a moratorium in place that many thoroughbreds would not be helped because we can't with so many horses still in quarantine, extra quarantine board and vet bills, transportation costs and the industry is still not doing anything to help them. Many of theses horses are in dire straits emergency mode because their time is running out, especially Nanny's Harley and Pippa's Prospect. Some horses are emaciated and need immediate care. 😡💔🙏🙏👉Whoever did this to Sod Goddess (LA) ought to be ashamed of themselves. If you are in the thoroughbred industry, you should not be allowed to or have the privilege of owning or breeding a thoroughbred again. This mare is also tore behind and has an infection. Look at her horrendous feet. She can barely walk. The cruelty and neglect that many thoroughbred mares suffer has got to stop. 🛑This beautiful mare by Fusaichi Pegasus should not have ended up like this at 16 years old. No thoroughbred should. All thoroughbreds deserve protection and safety.

The truck is there and once the horses are loaded it is too late.😢 Isn't there someone out there that can help these poor mares? Have contacted several organizations and no one has room. Technical Bargain may be being helped by a person who use to own her after racing . So there is a possibility that she may be getting some help but right now nothing at all for The Devil is Mine and God's Love and the clock is ticking. ❤❤ 👉Update! Kapaya has been picked up from the lot this morning and is on her way to quarantine. A big Happy Valentine's Day to her and everyone that loved her enough to help us help her. Sadly, there was no help for her from any past connections or the industry even though her breeder sits on the CTBA board. She is safe because action was taken on her behalf and caring people gave their hard earned dollars to help her. We thank all of you who shared, cared and donated to help us help Kapaya.

Even, though we saved 5 thoroughbreds in the last 5 to 6 days and a few other rescues saved a couple more. There are still many that are EXTREMELY URGENT, especially Tag 45, Tag 58 Purrty Rare and Tag 83 Kapaya at the Kaufman, TX lot because their deadline is up tonight. Per the lot these horses will ship to MX. Who is going to help them? We cannot with so many in quarantine, etc. Thoroughbred industry, CARMA, TAA, JC, Breeders Associations, where are you?
