We just only had our first “pride” event. Last year in Mission Viejo. Very conservative. Two stubborn republicans ran- neither refused to drop out last city council election so we ended up with a socialist. Hopefully, next time around there will only be one to campaign against her. She acts like an entitled ass.

Yeah, I waited quite a while before I hit the reply button, but I will tell you living 15 minutes away from Newport Beach and having so many events growing up there as a kid and just having these memories of the worst most obnoxious entitled people around you staring down at you like you are white trash because you don’t drive a Mercedes. Cops and visitors definitely did not deserve this but I see it as a huge wake up. Call that no place is safe even in our wonderful conservative areas.
