@KKurzNHL@m_bultman@shaynagoldman_ “The Athletic’s Kevin Kurz pointed to Porter Martone and Tyson Foerster as the two untouchables in Philadelphia.”
wtf
Today is likely the most important day for the #GoHabsGo rebuild. We’ve been through a LOT of pain the last 2 years as a fanbase. Let’s hope and pray for the best, cross our fingers that Hughes & Co makes the best decision, and enjoy the draft
Michkov, hope you’re one of us soon
@SuitableAlias@TheLibertyYell Because he’s a good 2C now with potential for more.
I’m just trying to think of a time a team actually traded a young 2C that turned into a legit 1C on the new team.
@afern_alex@TheLibertyYell They could easily move some of those guys to wing. Or trade one of the other 3 centres.
Beniers is currently the best of those 4 and really young still.
I’m not saying it’s impossible but if I’m Seattle I wouldn’t move him unless it’s for Michkov or something.
@TheLibertyYell The Horvat package is pretty much just a worse Eichel package.
1st + roster player + prospect
The quality of that roster player and prospect is the difference.
@TheLibertyYell Eichel is also better and was way younger at the time of the trade but did have the neck surgery stuff. All in all it should be about the same if not slight less than the Eichel package.
@SuitableAlias Them not going after Larkin goes against their entire strategy.
The guy is literally younger than Sanheim and his contract runs out the same time as Sanheim’s.
If the plan is keeping Sanheim for the rest of his contract then you definitely trade for Larkin.
