THE PEOPLE OF GAZA ARE DYING. A LOT OF US ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH TO HELP.
COMMIT TO FUNDRAISING A FAMILY IN GAZA. PLEASE DO WHATEVER IS IN YOUR MEANS. EVEN IF IT'S $1 USD MONTHLY.
friends and comrades whatever else you're doing for palestine I recommend you find a fundraiser to adopt and commit to keeping a family in gaza alive through the worst of this genocide. if you have any questions about how to do this please dm me and I can walk you through it
"Never think of those martyred in the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for." (3:169)
Martyrs come to family members in dreams and thoughts all the time, and this kind man got a message from his martyred son telling him to take care of Odai, his son. Grandparents found themselves caring for a child in a genocide with no support.
The Sameer Project does regular support for orphans. On May 15th, we visited the Ahmad Shawqi School and surrounding area in Rimal, Gaza City, and gave out food parcels to the orphans families who are staying there. 105 food parcels were distributed for $1,989 and that includes the 11% commission.

Overcrowded displacement camps, a lack of clean water, inadequate sanitation, and relentless displacement have created the perfect conditions for disease to spread in Gaza. The UN recently reported more than 125,000 cases of skin rashes linked to rodents and parasites across Gaza, but the reality is likely far worse. Help here: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
Nearly every camp is battling infestations of rats, fleas, mites, weasels, and other disease-carrying pests. A skin rash is not just a skin rash, the itching is a constant reminder of these horrendous conditions.
On May 26, The Sameer Project's medical team held a dermatology mobile Medical Day in Jinan Camp 4 near Hamad Towers in Khan Younis, providing care and treatment for 70 patients suffering from skin conditions that have become increasingly common during this genocide.
For many families, these conditions are painful, contagious, and difficult to treat without access to medicine. A simple rash can quickly become an infected wound. A child scratching through the night can lose sleep, comfort, and dignity.
Our clinics and mobile Medical Days are only possible because we continue to purchase medications and supplies in bulk. Each bulk order costs approximately $17,050 after commission and lasts for about one month and helps stock our clinics, support our medical days, and ensure patients receive treatment when they need it most.
Help us sustain The Sameer Project's medical initiatives and continue bringing care directly to those who need it most. Donate to the Medical Campaign: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1

Wounded patients or those with critical chronic illnesses don’t have support in Gaza. This is why The Sameer Project shelters 117 of those families in our camps. Contribute to our camps today: https://t.co/dT6xhwzZFU
The Sameer Project team and the families have a community feel in the camps where they play together and joke around. After being ripped away from their homes and being displaced multiple times, we want the families to feel safe and welcome in our camps.
As you can see in the video, the Refaat Alareer Camp has games like football, board games, cards and more. Children play together after school in the gated camps, with adults joining in sometimes.

Markets in Gaza are lined with Palestinians trying to make a living in the ongoing genocide. The Sameer Project is working on providing support for these small businesses to improve their working conditions and help them earn more money. Help here: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
The Sameer Project team met this hardworking man and asked him what he needs for his shoe fixing business to get a boost. So Yahya told us all he needs is a plastic chair and table.
On June 2nd, The Sameer Project team provided a plastic table, plastic chair and a food parcel. Total cost with 11% commission was $220. A small gesture made the world of a difference for Yahya and this is all thanks to your support.
We will help more small businesses but we need your help. Check out our General Fund link: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU

The lack of funds didn’t allow us to Eid clothes distributions last week but our partner at Small Steps Project (@smallstepsdocs) funded shoes distributions!
Help fund shoes: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
Around a month ago, The Sameer Project filmed a boy in Beit Lahia using tin cans to walk on rubble. The video went viral because it showed the lengths people go to due to the lack of most basic goods.
The Sameer Project went to the camp where this kids lives, Salateen Camp in Beit Lahia, and provided 149 pairs of shoes for all the kids living there. Each shoe cost around $12.60 so the total for all shoes was $1882. This includes 11% commission.

What does the medical staff in our Tawbah Clinic, just kilometers away from the yellow-line in Jabalia, see daily?? Everything! Imagine every ailment, every illness, every injury, every disease, compounded by time without treatment, deterioration without help. Help here: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
Here one of The Sameer Project’s doctors removed a cyst, located on the patient’s neck, made more serious as it laid on the carotid artery.
Thanks to your support of our Tawbah Clinic in the North we are able to provide healthcare to a neighborhood that has been cut off from medical assistance for years.
But this is a huge expense, and with donations decreasing we are having difficulty keeping up with the need. Each day we spend over $2,300 on medication and supplies alone, allowing us to serve anywhere between 250-300 patients daily. A lifeline in the razed region of Jabalia.

Sham is a child whose body is slowly failing her. She suffers from dangerously low blood sugar, severe calcium deficiency that is weakening her bones, and extreme malnutrition. Her teeth are falling out. Without proper treatment and nutrition, she risks permanent complications, including blindness. Support now: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
In Gaza today, children like Sham are trapped in a cruel cycle. Their illnesses worsen while they wait for medical evacuation alongside tens of thousands of other patients whose referral requests remain unanswered. Every day spent waiting is another day their health deteriorates.
The Sameer Project's medical team assessed Sham's case and immediately stepped in to provide support. We supplied 12 cans of Pediasure nutritional milk, a parcel of fresh vegetables, fruit, and meat, a comprehensive food package containing essential staples, eggs, and additional nutritional support to help stabilize her condition while she waits for the care she desperately needs. The total cost of her care was $346 after 11% commission.
Sham’s body is breaking down due to the lack of nutritious food, medicine, and medical care - all held back by the occupation. Another life devastated.

Gaza now has one of the highest populations of amputees in modern history. The occupation's airstrikes, shellings, and explosive weapons have left tens of thousands of Palestinians injured, many of them permanently. Limbs have been lost, bodies changed forever, and futures reshaped in an instant. Yet what has not been broken is the determination of those who continue to move forward with faith and strength.
This is why The Sameer Project was honored to support the Loyalty and Hope Volleyball Championship for people with disabilities, held at the Nuseirat Services Club on May 24. Through our transportation initiative, athletes were able to travel to and from the tournament, ensuring that mobility barriers did not prevent them from competing, connecting, and celebrating their strength.
Watch this video and you will see something powerful: not victims, but athletes. Not despair, but community. Not defeat, but resilience in action.
The occupation may have taken limbs, but it has not taken spirit. It has not taken ambition. It has not taken the will to compete, to laugh, to dream, and to live. Donate to our General Fund to support our transportation efforts: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU

Tuyoor Muhajera (migrant birds) Camp is a struggling camp in Khan Younis that we visit and support regularly. During our meat distribution in Eid, The Sameer Project team found this family that is suffering silently in their torn tent.
Help here: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
One of their kids is extremely malnourished and can’t walk. The baby has an eye infection. All kids have rashes and scabies.
Heartbreak after heartbreak as we receive videos of families in Gaza in unlivable condition. And instead of seeing more support, the opposite is happening. International organizations are reducing aid and mutual aid groups and local organizations are struggling to continue their work.
This video was taken on May 27th, the first day of Eid. The Sameer Project gave out 220 kilos of meat that cost $3,715. This includes the 11% commission.

Movement is freedom. But roads have been destroyed, fuel is scarce, transportation is expensive, and restrictions on movement continue to shrink lives and opportunities in Gaza. Support here: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
That is why The Sameer Project was honored to provide free transportation for athletes participating in the Loyalty and Hope Volleyball Tournament for people with disabilities - determination and incredible resilience was on display at the Nuseirat Services Club.
These athletes have already overcome challenges that most of us cannot imagine. They continue to train, compete, and inspire despite injury, disability, displacement - many newly joining their teams after injuries over the past two and a half years. The least they should have to worry about is how they will get to the tournament.
Our buses transported players to and from the event, helping ensure they could focus on what mattered: competing, connecting, and celebrating their strength.
Freedom of movement should never be a privilege. Until it is restored, we will continue doing our part to help people reach schools, hospitals, clinics, tournaments, and opportunities that keep life moving forward.

There are too many atrocities in Gaza to list. The bombs. The starvation. The displacement. The destruction of homes, hospitals, schools, and entire neighborhoods. Help Gaza here: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
But there are also the quieter wounds - the destruction of the social fabric itself. The insecurity, the fear, the breakdown of community structures that once protected families. Mothers who have already endured unimaginable loss now face new dangers and new uncertainties - rumors of kidnappings, true or untrue it speaks to the turmoil. How many different ways can a mother be made to suffer?
On May 9, Translating Falasteen x The Sameer Project distributed 885 kofta meals to families living in Al-Samer Al-Mohabba Camp in Gaza City, providing nourishment and a moment of relief amid ongoing hardship. This distribution cost $2,160 after 11% banking fees, and reached hundreds of displaced people struggling to endure another day.

To get bread in Gaza: you need to wake up at 5am, secure 3 shekels ($1) in change, walk to the bakery, queue for 1-3 hours and then walk back to your tent. The process is long, frustrating and around half of those who queue end up going home with NO bread. Help now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
The camps we visit and our team repeatedly told us how important it is to help provide bread. This is why The Sameer Project opened our own bakery in April 2026, and bought our first oven.
The Sameer Project bakery produces on average 350 bags of bread per week. On May 14th, our team visited Kanz Camp, Rimal, Gaza City, and gave the families 374 bags of bread and two were given to special cases. Total cost was $703, including 11% commission.

At The Sameer Project's Hasan School, more than 750 children are enrolled, and while reading, writing, and mathematics are essential, moments like these are just as important. Children cutting, coloring, decorating, and preparing for Eid are not simply doing an activity. They are experiencing childhood, again!
Displacement, hunger, martyred family members - this is how Gaza’s children have experienced the past 3 years of Eid. So a paper decoration may seem small. A handmade Eid art may seem ordinary. But these are the rituals that make childhood magical.
We need your help - not just for survival but to help kids reclaim the innocence and wonder that they all deserve - past Eid and into the future. Give to our Refaat Alareer Camp Campaign link: https://t.co/dT6xhwzZFU

A father is supposed to protect his family. But how can any father protect his children from this!? So much suffering…

Here, this man is doing everything he can to provide for his family. Yet he lives under a roof that could collapse at any moment. Rats invade their space. He has lost a leg. And like so many families in Gaza, he wakes up each day not knowing where the next meal will come from.
These are burdens no parent should have to carry.
On May 30, The Sameer Project's Bakery distributed 363 bundles of fresh bread to displaced families in Al-Manara Camp and the Nasr area. For families living through hunger, displacement, and uncertainty, bread is more than food. It is a lifeline. It is one less thing a father has to worry about for a day.
The total distribution cost of $646 after commission of 11% fees, and including all operating costs for the bakery. Help fund our bakery! Help keep this staple available for hundreds of families per day. Donate to our Food and Water Campaign: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX

Near the yellow-line, where bombardment, displacement, gunfire, attacks, and isolation have pushed families to their emotional limits, meat has become a distant memory. Some of these children have not tasted it in years. Last week during Eid al-Adha, many experienced what should be a simple tradition for the very first time in a long time. Help us keep giving: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
On the third day of Eid, The Sameer Project distributed 200 kilograms of fresh veal to families sheltering at Jabalia Girls School and in the Tawba area of Jabalia Camp - communities that many organizations struggle to reach or are unable to serve.
Yet despite everything, families remain steadfast on their land. Our distribution cost $3,462 after commission of 11%, providing a rare Eid meal and a moment of normalcy to families living under unimaginable conditions.

Hundreds of children - laughter, music, dancing, games, and pure joy. This is what Eid memories are made of! Support now: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
Their favorite entertainer, Uncle Tito the Clown, brought smiles to faces that have endured far more than any child ever should. The yard echoed with cheers as children played, sang, danced, and simply got to be children again.
In Gaza, joy is not a luxury. It is resistance. It is healing. It is a reminder that despite displacement, hunger, loss, and fear, the spirit of these children remains unbroken.
Nearly 750 kofta meals were also distributed ensuring that the day ended not only with happiness, but with a nutritious meal many families struggle to access.
The atmosphere was unforgettable. Laughter filled every corner. Smiles replaced worry, if only for a moment. And for one beautiful Eid gathering, children who have survived unimaginable hardship were given what every child deserves: a chance to play, celebrate, and feel loved.

For these little girls at The Sameer Project's Hasan School, Eid was not filled with the celebrations they once knew - but their smiles, their prayers for others, their moments of joy speak of a resilience that they should not even be expected to have. Support our school here: https://t.co/dT6xhwzZFU
No new clothes, no family gatherings, no certainty about tomorrow. And yet, in their bright faces, their laughter, and their hopeful words, there was still something beautiful: joy refusing to disappear.
These children deserve safety. They deserve calm. They deserve the chance to grow up with happy memories instead of surviving difficult ones. And as we look back on Eid al-Adha, we hope these girls experienced moments of happiness, friendship, and wonder. And we pray that the Eids ahead bring them what every child deserves - security and a future filled with celebration rather than hardship.

Meet Rital and Hussein, our little pizza chefs!! Here, children are not searching for food and waiting in line for meals - they are in charge of the kitchen!
Support our bakery here: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Inside The Sameer Project Bakery, they mixed the ingredients, helped prepare the dough, and watched as the flour, cheese, peppers, spices, yeast, sugar, and salt, became something special. Not just a meal, but an experience - PIZZA!!
In Gaza, children have been forced to grow up too quickly. They know displacement, hunger, and fear far better than they know birthday parties, school trips, or afternoons spent cooking with friends.
But on May 20, they got to be children, show some creativity, and have some fun around the oven. Together, they baked pizzas that were shared with 20 children in a camp in the North - creating a moment of laughter, pride, and normalcy in a place where normal life has been stolen away.
The entire day cost just $105 after 11% commission, proving that sometimes the smallest investments create the biggest impact.
