The Harrier has officially left the building. VMA-223 "Bulldogs," conducted the final USMC AV-8B flight today at Cherry Point, closing the book on one of the most unique airframes to ever fly from an LHA. It’s all F-35B from here!
So long Jump Jet!
It's still crazy to me that one of the ideas for fighting enemy troops hiding behind trees was to delete everything in that direction with the equivalent of a 152mm needle shotgun round.
@halfundergaming@Viper1Zero@ControlledPairs So kinda like Foxhole but in full fidelity like DCS? I like the sound of that but the scale would probably take years to make real.
Mole people? Treasure hunters? Something else?
Police are investigating a string of bizarre incidents involving mysterious groups of people entering and exiting New York City sewers through manholes in the dead of night.
Videos show different groups equipped with flashlights, waders, and other gear disappear underground for hours before reappearing on city streets.
Police say there’s no known threat to public safety, but the mystery underground excursions have sparked a citywide investigation.
There is one big reason they won't do it.
Money.
If sales could drop even slightly by having skins able to be toggled off by other players, it's a non-starter.
The fact that canonically other powerful anti-ship weapons exist in the SW Universe but we are always relegated to seeing the downward dropping proton bombs.

Very interesting.
So right off the bat, I'm seeing a lot of cameras. This is often overlooked for MBTs and AFVs but it's a big help with navigating narrows spaces such as urban and woodland terrain.
Also looks like the old EMES gunner sight is replaced with something else. Not a model I've seen before.
Not much else to really garner from this photo but it already looks way less bulky than the 2A8. I can only assume it's designed for a lightened down and possibly more cost effective purpose. But not really something I could say for sure just yet.
One of our instructors caught one of my bunk mates doing a parody of the rifle drill with a broom.
So, when rifle drill day came around... Every company got to see one lone recruit re-enacting a full parade drill on the square with his trusty broom in hand.
Never a dull moment.
@ConeOfArc I'm all for having different channels for different topics or styles but seriously, Simon must have like 20 channels at this point. How many is too many?
@SofiGaming@BigRob Oof. I remember one I got last year.
They'd send a product (for FREE!) that I'd need to film for an integration in exchange for... nothing! Absolutely nothing.
And they were confused when I thought that was a terrible pitch.
Singapore is an oil processing and export hub.
The main reason Singapore is in the position it is is because they are able to refine and export FAR more than they consume.
Australia has oil resources but lacks enough refineries to support consumption.
This is the oil commodity equivalent of getting takeout instead of cooking what's in the fridge.
Singapore has no oil. No gas. No coal. No iron ore.
Australia has all four in massive quantities.
Albanese had to fly to Singapore to ask for fuel.
Read that twice and tell me the problem is scarcity.
