Republican Steve Hilton is LEADING at 27.8%
Democrat Xavier Becerra at 25.4%
Democrat Tom Steyer way back at ~20%

In the bluest state in America — where Dems have a massive registration advantage and flooded the field with their best — a Republican is on top.

This isn't a "close race."

This is TOTAL REJECTION of one-party Democrat rule.

Years of Newsom's California:
