Absolutely mind-blowing.
Messier 88, an exquisite spiral galaxy located roughly 50 million light years away. It holds around 500 billion stars. M88 contains a supermassive black hole at its core that is roughly 100 million times more massive than our Sun.
Again, mind-blowing!
Andromeda in Detail!
Astrophotographer Yannick Acar has released one of the most detailed images of the Andromeda galaxy, captured with an amateur telescope. The impressive image reveals the structure and spiral arms of our nearest galactic neighbor in incredible detail.
NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope reveals the central region of the glistening, ancient globular cluster known as NGC 3201 (or Caldwell 79).
Located approximately 16,000 light-years away in the southern constellation of Vela
In this near-infrared view from the Hubble Space Telescope, a colossal gas-and-dust pillar—stretching three light-years—gradually dissolves under the powerful radiation of surrounding stars.

This @NASAHubble image features the interacting galaxy system Arp-Madore 2105-332, that lies about 200 million light-years from Earth. It reveals also several further galaxies, not associated with this system but fortuitously positioned so that they appear to be forming a line.
