Homan Shayani has spent more than five months in limbo inside Nourabad Mamasani Prison.
Arrested in early January 2026, before nationwide protests even began, the 33-year-old political prisoner now faces accusations including “enmity against God” and propaganda against the regime. Yet after all this time, no trial has been held.
On June 10, Homan began a hunger strike to protest his prolonged uncertainty and the authorities’ refusal to address his case.
Five months without due process.
Five months without answers.
Five months stolen from his life.
Homan Shayani had previously faced arrests because of his activism. Today, he remains behind bars, waiting for the most basic right every prisoner deserves: a fair hearing.
His name must not disappear into silence. ✌️🕊️

Missile trails were visible over the central Iranian city of Khomein on Wednesday as the Islamic Republic launched a fresh salvo, a video sent to Iran International showed.
The footage came after US forces launched strikes on southern Iran and the Islamic Republic retaliated with missile and drone operations against US regional bases.
Protesters in Iran continue to be executed by the regime. But not always by public hanging. Take Amir Davoodabadi who was injected with a poisonous substance into his testicles when held in prison which led to his death soon after release.
#امیر_داوودآبادی was born 1980 in Arak and one of tens of thousands who took to the streets January 8th and 9th to protest.
Days after the protests Amir was identified and arrested. After a month of interrogation and torture, he was released from prison in early March. Just before release he was injected with unknown chemicals into his testicles.
A few days later Amir's body began to react. His entire body swelled up and his kidneys and liver failed. His family were forced to transfer him from a hospital in Arak to Tehran where doctors where were unable to help him.
The family was then informed that toxic substances had entered his body. Amir lost his life 25 days later. He played the violin and was full of life. Like so many others with so much to give, murdered by the Islamic Republic.
Amir Davoodabadi is buried in the village of Gavkhaneh, next to another murdered protestor of Arak, Amir Mehdi Nemati Nejad.
In the lead up to the FIFA World Cup 2026, the world should know that the Islamic Republic, one of the participating teams in the tournament, has killed 12 male and female footballers in just the past three months. That is more than an entire football team on the pitch. In this thread, I will name them one by one also will be updated over time.
Rebin Moradi, a Saipa FC player, and Zahra Azadpour, a Mehrgan Pardis player who also previously played for the Iran national team, were among those killed during the protests.
I urge you all to follow closely on what’s happening in Afghanistan today.
Residents are protesting the arrest of three women earlier this week due to ‘improper covering of their body.’
The Taliban have injured and shot protestors and started arrests.
Alireza Peyghambari, a 26-year-old protester detained during Iran's nationwide January protests, has been sentenced to death on charges of "moharebeh" (enmity against God), US-based rights group Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) said.
HRANA said Peyghambari was arrested by security forces on Jan. 9 during the protests and is being held in Tehran Greater Prison. The rights group added that his case is under review by Iran's Supreme Court.

Watch this video.
It is only 18 seconds.
Watch, and you will see that the legends of my homeland are not a forgotten past.
My people are still alive.
And in January, they created a new epic that the world still knows absolutely nothing about.
