To me, the missing piece of the Futarchy eco was privacy

I already own a bank (@avici), I own the future of DeFi (@omnipair), and I own the ENA of Solana (@solomon_labs)... but on the privacy side, I was still missing something inside the Futarchy @MetaDAOProject eco

That said... and if you’ve read this far you already know what I’m talking about... today I decided to own @UmbraPrivacy $UMBRA

Not gonna go super deep since most of you already know what Umbra does, but in short: Umbra is building Solana’s privacy layer, offering private transfers, private swaps, confidential amounts, and an SDK any Solana project can integrate. But the important part is this:

Two weeks after their MetaDAO audit proposal passed, the team realized that shipping only an SDK would slow down adoption, so they shifted and started building the first privacy wallet on Solana as a reference implementation. They’re not waiting for others to adopt privacy; they’re proving it themselves

Their product right now includes:

1⃣ Shielded pool supporting private transfers + private swaps
2⃣ Confidential balances and amounts via C-SPL
3⃣ Gasless withdrawals through a relayer network
4⃣ Wallet with native key creation, social logins, imports, hardware wallet support, and built-in compliance screening
5⃣ Anonymous internal swaps + private send/receive flows
6⃣ Full compatibility with standard Solana addresses

Release 1 is almost complete. After launch, they’ll ship public/private swaps (powered by Jupiter or Titan) inside the app + encrypted transaction history

Their Infra / Architecture:

✅ Umbra uses @Arcium’s encrypted execution layer for confidential balances + private state

✅ C-SPL (part of Arcium stack) provides the standard for confidential transfers on Solana

✅ Umbra adds the shielded pool, private swaps, relayer network, and SDK on top, forming a unified privacy layer any wallet, DEX, or app can integrate

The product is great, but what’s even more bullish is the eco adoption happening before mainnet:

➡️ The SDK is their primary GTM path, over 50 teams in the first integration cohort
➡️ Several hundred users already on the wallet waitlist

➡️ First-party wallet gives Umbra direct onboarding, removing reliance on external wallets

Upcoming catalysts:

✅ Mainnet launch - December 10th
✅ SDK release to cohort-one teams next week

✅ Strong dev demand for encrypted user flows + private balance handling

✅ Increasing narrative alignment around compliant privacy after recent Solana leadership commentary

To me, @UmbraPrivacy is positioned to become the default privacy layer on @Solana

The combination of:

2⃣ a first-party wallet
3⃣ strong infra (Arcium + C-SPL)
4⃣ ecosystem integrations
5⃣ real demand
6⃣ real product

...gives them full control over both dev adoption and user experience

+ They're approaching mainnet with huge momentum, strong dev interest, a large integration pipeline, and a polished product stack ready for real usage

And with its closest competitor sitting ~$181M (Railgun)
