BTW, when Trump, right-wing media, and 🇷🇺 trolls scream we gave Ukraine $350 billion, they’re flat-out LYING.
The real number? $83.4 billion. The rest isn’t even approved for payment or committed. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a bad lie?
In an extraordinary display of public support, heads of state, heads of government, and foreign ministers from all over Europe and Canada are posting in support of Ukraine in response to the Oval Office meeting with Trump, Zelenskyy, and Vance.
“Viral #hepatitis funding is already scarce. Rollback of international support might see governments pivot resources to diseases that are deemed a higher priority.”

“This is a matter of life or death. #PEPFAR provides lifesaving antiretrovirals for more than 20 million people – and stopping its funding essentially stops their #HIV treatment. If that happens, people are going to die and HIV will resurge.” – IAS President @BGrinsztejn
📣 The IAS warns that the reinstatement of the “global gag rule” will have dire consequences for the #HIV response, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.

I voted for her. I think he’s a bad guy.
But if you lose the senate, house, electoral college AND popular vote, and you think the lesson is half the country is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and stupid… wrong lesson. And the same thing will likely happen in 2028.
Once again, cynicism has proved to be the right attitude. I had some hope for Harris in recent days, but I'm not surprised. Many liberals will be shocked because they failed to look outside their bubbles.
I suspect this is largely about immigration -- which is triggering a rightward shift worldwide -- & the economy; inflation is way down, but people think they want deflation.
