Young guy shows up at the door a year ago, I liked the hustle. Signed up. I have access to all the good stuff and did not see a difference in what they did compared to what I did other than, I didn’t have to do the ten min job. A pain in the ass to cancel today. This race is similar to Kirby, Barnett, and Rounds. Two big names and money (Kirby and Barnett) went toe to toe very negative. Rounds stayed in the weeds and win. Not saying Dusty was behind the negative but seemed like he followed the DC consultants. Dusty started ads on the superbowl, SD doesn’t need campaign ads for 4 months.

One of the old guys (non-farmer) I have drinks with every week told me his family sold a 1/4 in 1975 for $52/acre, that is $8,320. Land sold within two miles of that about two weeks ago for $8,650/acre. Invested at 6% over 50 years is ~$153k. That can only buy 18 acres at today’s price.

Same, I knew about the maze of vendors, failed to tell my ex. Suddenly she wasn’t next to me, she stopped to look at something. There were 6people around in seconds, one asked her name and then mine. You could see where he scraped the wood when someone didn’t give in. We negotiated and then I got the wet money out and he saw I had more. We basically had to run away.

@iamyourfarmer I am thinking this can be done for grain ticket reconciliation as well. Allow Claude to analyze report from elevator/process and then photos of scale tickets in a cloud that it can search, analyze, and then place in spreadsheet.
