@DrSuneelDhand I love the smell, and like the taste. I only have two or three a day, though, because if I have more (unless I choose decaffeinated) for a few days, I get palpitations. I mostly just drink (still) water.
@according2_taz Yep. It's much the same every few weeks. The Sussexes put out some lie, hoping to manipulate and cause trouble. The media repeat it, for their own aims. And some people believe it blindly, thumping on their keyboard about how they no longer support the Monarchy because of it.
@DuchessofGeeks It keeps happening: the Sussexes put out some lie, hoping to manipulate and cause trouble. The media repeat it, with similar aims. And some people believe it instantly, jumping up and down (or thumping their keyboard) in a paroxysm of rage.
@elonmusk Seems so. And it's why they call anybody who doesn't agree with them far right, so they can in turn dismiss, castigate, and eventually claim they're (we're) Nazis, too. Simultaneously building up an army made of fighting-age male invaders gives a clue to what their aim might be.
@rayanna_1975@according2_taz Nor do I. And it keeps happening. The Sussexes put out some lie, hoping to manipulate and cause trouble. The media repeat it, with similar aims. And some people believe it instantly, jumping up and down (or thumping their keyboard) in a paroxysm of rage - they never learn.
@MolliesMama_ As you say, it's the same every summer (and other seasons). And every time, the media play it up. And every single time, some people fall for it and get worked up and claim they "were Royal supporters but not any more". It's become very tedious.
@JohnCleese And we would need to claim reparations/repayment for our part in ending slavery to the West. Also for the lasting improvements we made to the places we colonised. Things like infrastructure, health provision, and the other benefits.
@BillWiIdin I like the self-scan option. I scan it and put it straight in my shopping bag - no need to put it in trolley, then take it out and put it on conveyor, then pick it up and put it in shopping bag. I've never had an employee stand and watch me like a criminal, though.
@HWarlow Same. I melt - even my brain feels like it's melting, and I can't think properly (now I'm retired, that's less of a problem, although it's still horrible).
@crustilye I'm so sorry to hear that news, Glynn. It's that she has been looked after quickly and well, so I hope the recovery continues and is complete. (My mum had it too, and it never reappeared, so I know it can be beaten.) Best wishes as you take care of her, yourself and family, too!
@JustSoDuckie I agree. There are many, many such stories of him from when he was a child, through teens, into adulthood and now middle age. Even if some of them aren't true or are exaggerated, that still leaves a LOT of nasty, and worse, behaviour by him.
@JohnCleese I've never voted for them. My first boss said that Labour never, ever kept their word about anything, and I've seen for myself that he was absolutely right. The country has been worse after every single Labour government in my lifetime; but this one is the worst ever.
@according2_taz I did wonder yesterday, when the story was that they're definitely coming, whether it was another of their attempts at manipulation. Well, we'll see.
