I just stepped off the debate stage.
We heard more of the same from Summer Lee, refusing to support @POTUS and refusing to denounce the uncommitted movement in PA.
Our democracy is at stake. Make sure to tune in at 8pm on WPXI.
While we didn't get the result we wanted tonight, I'm feeling extremely grateful.
To our incredible network of supporters, and to everyone who cast a ballot today. Thank you.
Everything is on the line this November – and the work is just getting started.
Hey #PA12 - it's time to make your voice heard!
Polls close at 8pm, so get out and vote at your local polling place.
And don't forget to remind three friends to do the same!
This happened overnight in Pittsburgh’s Northside. The 4th antiSemitic incident to occur at this home. Do not remain silent when you see your neighbors intimidated and harassed. This is hate speech and with the goal of scaring this family. It is wrong on every level and must end.
I sincerely thought I'd never witness members of my party refuse to condemn Iran—one of the world's leading terrorism sponsors—after launching hundreds of drones against our special ally, Israel.
No words.
Today, @SummerForPA was the only Democratic member of the Pennsylvania delegation to vote against delivering aid to our allies – Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
She's woefully out of step with the values of our district and our state.
I think we can all agree that we should condemn Iran's unprecedented attack on Israel.
Well – not @SummerForPA.
She just voted against ~95% of Democrats – refusing to condemn this assault on our ally.
Our campaign has earned support from a broad coalition of unions, Democratic clubs, and more.
In Congress, I'll deliver for every corner of #PA12 – and I'm so grateful to have such a large grassroots team.
This week, @SummerForPA shunned the vast majority of Democrats and voted against:
- The No Paydays for Hostage Takers Act
- The No Technology for Terror Act
- The Solidify Iran Sanctions Act
- The Iran Sanctions Accountability Act
We deserve better than performative votes.
My opponent @SummerForPA just voted against the Iran Sanctions Accountability Act.
A bipartisan bill (it passed 408-13) meant to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those it's meant to support – and not used to fund terrorism.
An alarming – and telling – vote.
The United States Senate passed a critical, bipartisan bill to provide much-needed aide to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
House Republicans are refusing to bring it up – and my opponent @SummerForPA is joining them in blocking a discharge petition.
Time to stop the games.
Representing 15k+ workers, the @PALaborers are the backbone of our economy here in #PA12.
They deserve fair wages, secure benefits, and safer workplaces – and I'm proud to have them on my team.
We are praying for the safety of those in the region under threat right now by the Iranian regime’s first direct attack against our ally Israel.
I applaud @POTUS for his leadership preemptively forming a defensive coalition of neighboring countries to defend against this attack.
The Beacon Coalition is doing critical work to advocate for the Jewish community here in Pennsylvania and beyond.
Grateful to earn their support today.
More than 60 polling place locations have moved for the April 23 Election. Ensure you know where to vote before Election Day by finding your polling place online.
No child should go to school wondering if they're going to survive math class.
We need decisive action to stop the epidemic of gun violence in this nation – and we need it now.
Proud to stand with @MomsDemand in this work.
My opponent – @SummerForPA – wishes she was running against a Republican.
She's not.
I'm the only candidate in this race who proudly backs @JoeBiden 100%.
I loudly denounce Donald Trump, Jeff Yass, and the uncommitted movement – all of which seek to undermine the President.
Our reproductive rights are under attack – and our only defense is the ballot box.
Re-electing @POTUS is the best thing we can do to stop Trump from continuing to stack the Supreme Court with extremists who want to strip us of our rights.
There is no margin for error.
The Arizona Supreme Court ruling allows an 1864 abortion ban to go into effect. There are no exceptions for rape and incest, and it threatens doctors and nurses with prison time.
It does not have to be this way. Congress must restore the protections of Roe.
Last night, I had an excellent conversation with the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh’s Community Relations Council.
We need a Congresswoman who shows up. In each of our communities. Consistently.
