Another of my old photographs - but I know exactly where I was when I took this one. The "where" is walking down Howes Lane from Northowram to the Shibden Valley. The "when" is slightly more problematic - the early 1970s, I would guess. The colour was added last night!

The pile of Yorkshire stone mill flags on Norland awaiting a new home have at last been laid, providing a resilient surface for users on a path towards the trig point. This will allow the adjacent vegetation to re-establish which will improve the habitat and reduce erosion.
