There is an old saying about Bench Trials and that is:

The defense never asks for a bench trial unless they know the outcome ;)

Essentially, the judge said without BWC footage, he could not know what happened for sure, leaving him with reasonable doubt.

So odd. BWCs are new. Cases were decided for decades without them based on testimony.

Anyway, respectful of the Judge's verdict.

Tragic case all-around around.

I hope Ms. Fitzsimmons takes her second chance and succeeds and that nothing bad happens to her baby or ex....
