Are they approaching random people and asking for papers or do they have a warrant for a specific criminal?

@Notwokenow 1/1/25 to 11/2025 there have been 398 mass shootings in the US. In the same time period, there have been 0 in Australia. Previous one was 12/2022. Prior to that there was one in 6/4/19.
