@elonmusk Small ask, big impact: the Tesla app should show live charge % front and center while Supercharging, plus WHY the speed is what it is (battery temp, charge curve, shared stall). Right now owners just stare at kW and guess. Transparency builds trust. Easy win.

1. His improvised scene in Good Will Hunting made the cameraman laugh so hard the camera started shaking. Matt Damon's reaction is authentic.
@Prince_Fynnz I did 60 hours of just water and pink Himalayan salt. The only significant issue/downside I noticed is super high cortisol and stress response early am the last two mornings of the fast. Does anyone have insight as to why?
I just cancelled my Adobe licence after many years as a customer.
The new terms give Adobe "worldwide royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute" or do whatever they want with any content I produce using their software.
This is beyond insane. No creator in their right mind can accept this .
You pay a huge monthly subscription and they want to own your content and your entire business as well.
Going to have to learn some new tools.

Reminder that Argentina was once one of the richest nations on Earth and a rival of the U.S. - hence the well-known phrase, "as rich as an Argentine".
Incredible facts about the Argentinian economy in the early 20th century:
✅ As rich as the U.S. per capita at the turn of the century
✅ GDP grew 6% annually during the 43 years to 1914 (fastest in the world)
✅ Top 10 wealthiest nations globally per capita by 1914
✅ Argentinian exports peaked at ~4% of world trade during the 1920s
✅ Argentina was still as rich as much of Europe as late as 1950
🧵 THREAD: “80% of the people they put on ventilators died,” Joe Rogan told billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk on the Joe Rogan Experience Tuesday.
“Yeah. So, in fact, I actually posted about that,” responded Musk, “because I called doctors in Wuhan and said, ‘What are the biggest mistakes that you made on the first wave?’ This is early on. And they said, ‘We put far too many people on intubated ventilators.’ So then I actually posted on Twitter at the time and said, ‘Hey, I'm what I'm hearing from Wuhan is that they made a big mistake in putting people on intubated ventilators for an extended period. And that this is actually what is damaging the lungs, not COVID. It’s the treatment. The cure is worse than the disease.’ And they, people, yelled at me and said, I'm not a doctor. I'm like, Yeah, but I do make spaceships with life support systems.”

Information Diet: High Agency vs Low Agency
Every minute, 500 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube.
Every day, 500 million tweets are uploaded to Twitter.
Every year, 67 million people die.
Despite this, if you don't have an up-to-date opinion on trending events - you are labeled ignorant.
"Ignorance is bliss" is a loaded sarcastic putdown in 2023.
When you live in a society using "bliss" as a shaming mechanism, it's a sign you're in an upside-down world.
Reality: 24 hours each day isn't enough to consume 0.0001% of the world's events.
One fun hack:
When people mock you for not having an opinion on the new current thing: Start asking them about the current situation in Djibouti or Eswatini.
It will reveal they aren't up to date on the current situation in those countries - but that they also didn't know those countries existed. Peak ignorance.
This shows they don't actually care about ignorance -- it was just a proxy for shame and control.
Irony: The people shaming others for being ignorant are often the most ignorant because they are ignorant of their own ignorance.
The bad news is that it's impossible not to be ignorant in the age of information abundance. The good news is that there are different settings available in the ignorance video game: Low agency vs High agency information diets.
1. Low Agency Information Diets
• Low agency information diets are guided bottom-up by societal shame and FOMO.
• 0 information borders. Downloads the loudest voice on the news or For You algorithms.
• Low agency information diets avoid any feedback loops that observe the information inputs coming in and the outputs they produce. It's an infinite abyss that never ends.
• Admitting "I don't know" is the ultimate sin. You must have an opinion.
• Low agency information diets appear selfless, but in the pursuit of trying to keep on top of everything, it keeps on top of nothing.
2. High Agency Information Diets
• High agency information diets are guided top-down by intentional design and goals.
• It has specific information borders because attention is the scarcest asset in the age of information abundance.
• High agency information diets proactively seek sources with a proven track record. It has firewalls against passive consumption of the world's worst events or social media drama.
• Feedback loops are used to monitor the reliability and impact of the information diet. It ruthlessly mutes low signal sources.
• Admitting "I don't know" is a virtue.
High agency information diets appear selfish, but in the pursuit of directed focus, they can actually have an impact on a cause.
Choose your character:
We are all in the ignorance gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
ELON TARGETED FOR NOT CANCELING RUSSELL BRAND | X REFUSES REQUEST FROM GOVERNMENT!
As many social media platforms work together to cancel Brand, @elonmusk has spoken out against his censorship, stating;
“He is not suspended on this platform. Innocent until proven guilty.”
Culture, Media and Sport Committee chairwoman Dame Caroline Dinenage asked Elon if he “has personally intervened in any decisions on Russell Brand’s status on the platform.”
We have seen Elon defend Brand’s position as an alternative media voice, he said the media doesn’t “like the competition.”
Things get worse. They have also contacted Linda Yaccarino asking if 𝕏 would be “suspending Mr. Brand’s ability to earn money on the platform.”
The Government’s motive is to pressure Elon and 𝕏 into blindly joining the media’s coordinated attack on Brand.
He hasn’t even been charged, and they want to demonetize and de-platform him!
What is going on!?!
Elon stood against censorship.
Will the establishment put more pressure on him?
JUST IN - U.S. Department of Justice is suing Elon Musk's SpaceX for "discriminating against refugees and asylum seekers in its hiring practices."
If U.S. law mandates wrecking America's most innovative company because it won't hire more refugees via affirmative action, then the law is wrong.
Fire the Office of Civil Rights.
I AM NOT A DOCTOR.
But 7 years ago I was constantly ANXOUS & DEPRESSED & prescribed anxiety meds.
Everyday I snoozed my alarm, ate lucky charms for breakfast, worked a desk job, ate out junk for lunch & watched TV at night.
I got VERY LITTLE movement or sunlight.
I was 33 years old.
This is unpopular but I wasn’t depressed or anxious because I was born that way.
It was 100% my lifestyle CHOICES.
No doctor asked me what I ate, how much I moved or what my morning routine looked like.
They said TAKE THIS PILL.
I did & felt worse.
Until one day at 34 I decided NO MORE.
In tears one night I wrote rules for myself.
A simple framework that I could do daily.
That anyone could do daily!
Within a few months I was off meds.
At almost 40 I’m in the best shape of my life physically, mentally & spiritually.
I truly believe we could bankrupt big Pharma if people:
•Ate real food.
•Prioritized walking outside daily.
•Sought PURPOSE over just dollars.
I AM NOT A DOCTOR & not telling you to get off meds.
Some people 100% need them & I’m grateful we live a time where they exist.
But YOU SHOULD 100% try LIFESTYLE CHANGES FIRST before you ever take a pill.
If you treat your spouse like you’re still dating, you’ll stay married.
If you treat your customers like prospects, they’ll keep coming back.
There’s no way around it.
The moment you take things like you can never lose them, is the moment you do.
In 2001, Warren Buffett gave a talk at the University of Georgia.
He asked them the most Warren Buffett question ever:
• If you could invest in a friend and get 10% of their income for life -- who would you pick?
Once the students answered the question, he then asked this:
• Why would you invest in that person?
• What character traits do they have?
Now they have a list of character traits to adopt.
Shortly after this, Buffett asked:
If you could short a friend's earnings, who would you pick and why?
Now you have a list of character traits to avoid.
----
1. Do not think this thought experiment is only about money.
You can use it for whatever currency you value.
E.g. Happiness coin
If you could get 10% of a friend's happiness, who would you invest in and why?
If you could short someone's happiness, who would you pick and why?
You can run the same thought experiment with Fitness coin, Friendship coin, Romance coin, etc`
2. This thought experiment is genius because it hacks a bug in life's video game:
Humans are terrible at self-awareness.
But we are great at spotting things in other people.
E.g. If your friend is in the wrong relationship, you can realize in 10 minutes what may take them 10 years.
Daniel Kahneman summarised his book on cognitive biases with the following:
“The premise of this book is that it is easier to recognize other people’s mistakes than our own.” - Daniel Kahneman
3. Nuance - It has to be purely from merit.
Buffett says it can't be because someone will inherit a large sum from their parents.
It has to be based on their behavior.
E.g. If you want 10% of someone's fitness coin, it's not because of incredible genetics -- is because of the actions they take.
