@refsupportuk No surprise there, that's a common situation with some parents. Coaches should be embarrassed and sort their parents with a talk on respect before games. Definitely not anything a ref can deal with.
@sambagnallphoto How embarrassing for the chap when he looks back at that - well done referee. ๐How can that behaviour be acceptable, especially from a captain
Strong results in our @HPE Q1 FY22 earnings โ the @HPE_GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform saw record demand last quarter, plus we added more than 100 new #HPEGreenLake customers! Way to go team! https://t.co/KzD11L655n
@refsupportuk Absolutely no need for that and as a referee, I'm embarrassed to see it - that certainly doesn't help the 'respect' cause if we act just like the minority we are trying to cut out of the game..
@_vickyfrench Yes, she is soo pleased to be spending a year with Disney, she is going to be working with the cruise liner business. Again, thanks for your support ๐
@rammieib@refsupportuk I did speak to his coach who said he would have a word with him so all good. Its just not in the spirit of respect for officials
@refsupportuk
I refereed a youth football game @ U17 today and it was a great game. A few incidents including a disallowed goal. Anyhow after the final whistle, one of the players refused to shake my hand after 3 attempts by me. What should a ref do ? I had to speak to his coach
Thanks for the lift, @northropgrumman!
