A lot of trade unions run regular trips to Cuba
I’m not a fan of Alex Halligan but this isn’t the gotcha people seem to think it is
TUs also used to organise ‘coffee picking brigades’ to Nicaragua
Talks have failed to address @GMB_union members’ concerns about increases to workload and how this impacts on their ability to work safely

The Alex Halligan appointment is a bad sign for anyone who expected that even under RLB the internal life of the party would become gentler, more united, comradely and pluralistic than under current LOTO Stalin fans. This was always John McDonnell's promise to PLP. Now hollow.
Every family is different but anybody else feel it odd a hubby leaves Sandringham to go into a London hospital and the wife leaves London for Sandringham 100 miles away instead of staying nearby to visit? Just asking for the royals
No. I won’t be ‘uniting behind Brexit’. Ever. That’s like asking me to unite behind xenophobia, injustice, ignorance, evil....
And why? To make life easier for Johnson and his Tories? To salve their consciences? Fuck that. They can own it all. And be permanently reminded.
We will be sharing some jobs on this account over the next few weeks that we think may be of interest to former Labour staffers. Please drop us a message if you have anything to add below ⬇️
@AbdiDuale_ Yep, I must remember to tell my most desperate constituents that, firmly and with absolute unflinching, arrogant conviction. It'll surely comfort them whilst waiting the 65 weeks or so for the outcome of their PIP assessment appeals! #Winning
“Definitely radicalism is not about unwinding change” - as always @patmcfaddenmp hits nail on head about how @UKLabour needs to change to change the country we seek to serve
