The original idea was that by 2027, at the very latest, 100% of rivers in the UK would be in 'Good' ecological condition. Theresa May's govt revised that number down to 75% in 2018. Current forecast, by 2027 just 6% will have achieved that goal.
The @EnvAgency were first tasked with delivering that objective in 2003.
