@ElliottForWV That guy @RepRileyMoore is so stupid; he followed me with a profile full of Trump-bashing content when I was posting. He stopped after I came at him for a stupid comment.
This is literally man behind the curtain shit. You may as well click your heels together and repeat โthereโs no place like homeโ about the place with no healthcare, education, housing, good jobs, mail ballots, secure retirement, general welfare of the people. Why create imaginary roadblocks to good policy and good government? Why give excuses for mass suffering and inequality greater than during the Great Depression? Can we please get serious about the real problems and the real tools to fix them? Political will. Thatโs what we need. The federal deficit is a private sector profit. The question is not the money, itโs who is hiding all of it away from the Monopoly board? (Rhetorical) Can we please have a serious discussion about how we strengthen then the people to have the political will to direct money to the people and away from the greed mongers choking out our civilization and all of humanity??? Cause this isnโt it. Wake up.
@ElliottForWV What gets me is that Jim Justice is paying off his debt to the IRS on his Senate salary (he has no other income, only equity, which isn't income). So over the 6 years of his term, his salary is paying ~$1M of his penalty.
Nice to be rich.
Great Answer to the politically motivated question from a "finance" pro who isn't that subtle about shilling for a laissez-faire, unregulated economy. Like this economy isn't unfair enough.
๐ค@AIoracleapp started because of my own disability process: hundreds of forms, doctor visits where I had to track new or evolving symptoms, appeal calls to keep straight. I needed one place that actually remembered it all. Launching on Product Hunt soon: https://t.co/au6YUmc73M
Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care.
They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.
Early this morning, @HawleyMO + @RonWyden had a bipartisan amendment in the Senate Budget resolution to strike out any cuts to Medicaid. @SenCapito and @JimJustice_WV voted against it- and against protecting the program.
The Fed gov can print money, businesses can't.
Poly Sci 101 @elonmusk
CONGRESS authorizes new money to fund laws (the purse strings of the Gov) The Fed/Treasury/IRS implement the law, maintain the supply & take it out of circulation
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT A BUSINESS!
Musk: If a commercial company operated the way the federal government does, then it would be -- immediately go bankrupt. It would be delisted. The officers would be arrested

@HarryStebbings I can't message you b/c of me not paying for this site, but I do this and would be happy to help out. I'm a PM and work with small businesses and their web presence. [email protected]
So @amazon Alexa decided to order batteries for me. Didn't waste any time taking advantage of the CFPB problems.
I didn't say yes, I said dismiss!
She just became an expensive paperweight, back to @Google until they decide to do something dumb.
The CFPB is literally designed to protect consumers from predatory banks and corporations.
It's not surprising a greedy billionaire like Elon Musk wants to shut it down.
Unfortunately for him, itโs illegal.
Musk can't shut down CFPB. Neither can Donald Trump.
The @Replit agent and assistant have been recently, consistently, getting shittier. Breaking things, erasing things, making things up, and generally not doing anything useful for long periods of time.
We are starting back up @BlastOffApps and I needed marketing website so I tried @Replit
I am impressed. As a PM, it was simple (~3 hours all-in) (https://t.co/rm9GAaGneZ).
Faster than I could have coded myself by far!
Great Product (and new pay structure)! Kudos!
