🔴 INFO / Kigali Summit Security — Un sommet discret sur la sécurité entre les représentants du Sénat américain, de L'Israël et du Rwanda a eu lieu à Kigali inquiète Kinshasa.

Des responsables américains, israéliens et africains se sont réunis mercredi à Kigali, au Rwanda, dans le cadre d’un Sommet sur la sécurité placé sous le thème : « L’alignement des États-Unis, d’Israël, de l’Afrique et du nouveau Moyen-Orient ».

Selon les organisateurs, cités par le The Times of Israel, cette rencontre avait pour objectif d’examiner les voies susceptibles de faire de l’Afrique « la prochaine frontière » du renforcement de la coopération stratégique entre États-Unis et Israël, avec Kigali présenté comme partenaire clé.

Plusieurs personnalités américaines ont pris la parole à distance, notamment le sénateur républicain Ted Cruz, la sénatrice démocrate Jacky Rosen, ainsi que l’ancien conseiller à la sécurité nationale de Donald Trump, Robert O'Brien.

À l’issue des échanges, les participants ont esquissé une vision stratégique articulée autour d’un partage des rôles : Washington mettrait en avant son leadership mondial et son expertise géostratégique, Tel-Aviv apporterait son savoir-faire en matière de sécurité et d’innovation technologique, tandis que le Rwanda se positionnerait comme pivot régional et passerelle vers les autres États africains.
