As we approach the six-month mark of Iran’s national uprising on January 8–9, the world must hear the truth once again:
in just 48 hours, the Islamic Republic massacred more than 40,000 unarmed Iranians.
A new Video of the gathering for Khamenei’s funeral in Jamkaran, Qom. Compare that to the map of the crowd counting tool. I have included everywhere the video shows.
Even with the most generous 2 people per m² (way more packed than reality in many spots), the max is ~297k.The regime and their Western lapdogs are screaming “millions.”
Assad pulled bigger crowds for a random rally and he was toppled in days. Diaspora Iranians in Munich/LA/Toronto (a tiny fraction of the population) hit similar numbers.
This is a total disaster for the Islamic Republic. They’ve lost legitimacy, numbers, morality — everything. Only guns left and Iranians will get theirs soon enough.
I explained that Khamenei’s funeral is a show staged by the regime to send a message of unity among Iranians, while the reality is far from that.
His mourners are allowed to take to the streets and are given food, drinks, transportation, and security. Protesters, meanwhile, are met with bullets, arrests, and the threat of execution.
Khamenei was killed less than two months after his forces killed thousands of Iranian protesters.

“You do not negotiate with an executioner while he is still holding the knife. 40,000 Iranians did not die so the free world could capitulate.”
From Prince Reza Pahlavi's op-ed in Le Figaro:

Never judge the Islamic Republic by its smiles at the negotiating table.
Judge it by the hatred it celebrates, the threats it glorifies, and the actions it repeatedly takes.
With my people in #Iran, these days…
Behnam AmirAfshari was a father of two teenagers.
On January 17, in Fardis, Karaj, he was struck by live ammunition from the regime's forces.
He spent 14 days in the ICU, enduring repeated surgeries and amputation.
After days of pain and struggle, he passed away.
His children lost their father.
His family lost a life that should still be with them.
This must not be ignored.

The Islamic Republic regime’s propaganda has failed. The number of regime supporters at Ali Khamenei’s funeral procession in the heart of Tehran was far smaller than the number of regime opponents who turned out in Toronto, Munich, Los Angeles, and elsewhere. You can perhaps survive for a while with lies and fraud, but this cannot last forever.
Multiple videos from Ali Khamenei’s funeral make clear that the Islamic Republic has not changed.
The footage shows an effigy of President Trump being hanged. Terrorism is part of the regime’s DNA, and its crimes will continue.
Video recorded in Tehran, the capital city of Iran today, shows Reza Gholami Aram, one of the snipers of the special police units of Iran’s Islamic regime protecting regime supporters during the funeral of dictator Ali Khamenei. These ruthless snipers massacred thousands of Iranian protesters in January 2026, including children. They are among the most ruthless terrorists of the Islamic regime.
During the Operation Lion’s Roar, my friends eliminated some of these terrorists by bombing their bases and hideouts. But this piece of shit got away.
As America marks the 250th anniversary of its Independence, Iranians are carrying the same message of liberty into the world.
Standing at the grave of Behnam Layeghpour, murdered by the Islamic Republic during the Mahsa Amini uprising, a young Iranian delivers a simple appeal:
"Stand with the Iranian people. No deal with the regime."
"Global Week of Action for a Free Iran"
To the foreign representatives in Tehran to mourn Iran’s deceased dictator, Ali Khamenei: Iran is not mourning him.
Iran is mourning more than 40,000 sons and daughters slaughtered on January 8 and 9 by Khamenei, Ghalibaf, and their machinery of repression.
The regime is spending vast amounts of the Iranian people's wealth to stage this propaganda spectacle, yet not a single democratic leader attended.
What you see today is not a nation in grief for its ruler. It is a nation filled with righteous anger, and that anger and heroic bravery will bring down what remains of this criminal regime.
250 years ago, Americans braved an experiment the world had never seen, what Abraham Lincoln would later call “government of the people, by the people, for the people.”
As Iranian Americans, we are proud of what America has taught the world.
Happy 250th birthday, America.
🔴Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Abolghassem Salavati, has sentenced protesters Mr. #MehdiNazer and his fiancée, Ms. #MahnazChardoli, to death and 10 years in prison.
🔸Additionally, Ms. Atefeh Nazer, the sister of Mr. Mehdi Nazer, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. The three individuals were arrested in Tehran on January 11, 2026.
🔸According to Iran International TV, the charges brought against them include "attacking a mosque with Molotov cocktails," "participating in illegal gatherings," offenses related to Articles 3, 4, 7, and 8 of the Law on Intensifying the Punishment for Espionage and Cooperation with Israel, as well as "assembly and collusion."
🔸However, Iran International said that on the date of their arrest, no credible reports of gatherings or attacks on a mosque had been published.
🔸The capital charges brought against Mr. Nazer and Ms. Chardoli constitute a serious miscarriage of justice and are incompatible with international human rights law. The death penalty is restricted to the "most serious crimes," which the UN Human Rights Committee has interpreted as offenses involving intentional killing. The charges against Mr. Nazer and Ms. Chardoli fall far short of this threshold. Moreover, the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center has documented at least 19 protesters executed so far this year following deeply flawed and politically motivated judicial proceedings, underscoring Iran's increasing use of capital punishment as a tool of repression.
