Feeling low today. I keep on hearing "you can't be busy/tired - you don't have kids" every time I tell someone I am busy/tired.
Please stop. My busy-ness/tiredness is not negated just because I don't have children of my own yet.
@MissAmilahS As a subject mentor and professional mentor this doesn't seem right. Of course there are two sides to every story but if it makes you feel that uneasy please go back to your provider. Some schools just don't fit. Your health is worth more. DMs open if you need support 🙏
The job of a teacher is to educate & inspire our future generation.
To make the world a safer place for all, sometimes we just have to be a little bit brave.
Acceptance without exception.
Here’s my small bit for history.

I'm going to tell you the truth here... I have done sod all work this week. Not one minute.
Will my school be ok tomorrow? Yep.
Are there some jobs that needed doing? Yep.
Did I just need a break? Yep.
Don't feel guilty if you are the same. Looking after you is important.
It is shocking that it is not shocking that the news of schools going back to full face to face teaching on 8 March has been leaked late on a Sunday night at the end of half term ahead of an announcement tomorrow. Schools and those who work in them deserve better than this.
'Twas the night before Monday
And all through the term
Teachers will be there
Focused and firm.
The last year has been
A remarkable fight
And now for more strength
As we come near the light
And to all of our students
Working on Teams
COVID won't stop you
Achieving your dreams!
