More than 150 people, including 120 children, were killed in Iran when an airstrike hit a school in Minab.
Although a preliminary US military investigation determined Washington was responsible, the Trump administration is yet to formally accept responsibility.
Sky's @DominicWaghorn is the first international journalist to visit Minab.

The arbitrary execution of 10 dissidents and protesters in 10 days since 30 March, after grossly unfair, torture-tainted trials, underscores ongoing deadly repression Iran. The horrific escalation demands international condemnation and urgent action to halt further executions.
President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are “outright lying,” and “selling a fantasy to Iranian people who are rightfully desperate for regime change,” says Iranian-American Democratic Congresswoman @yassaminansari, who calls the Iran operation an “illegal war.”
Song of the Future honors the schoolgirl uprising in Iran and the life of 16-year-old Sarina Esmailzadeh, one of thousands of Iranian schoolgirls who took to the streets as part of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in 2022. These protests were sparked by the death of Jina Mahsa Amini, a young Kurdish-Iranian woman who died in Tehran on 16th September that year from injuries sustained following her arrest by the so-called ‘morality police’ for not wearing a hijab in accordance with government standards. Seven days later, Sarina was beaten by the Iranian security forces and died from her injuries, the regime claiming she killed herself. The song aims to capture Sarina’s free spirit, the promise and hope of her short life.

There is no news about many of the protesters who have been arrested.
Their families are worried, and we are worried they may be executed.
A report from inside the prison says that detainees who were shot are being denied medical care.
The international human rights community has a responsibility to act:
to demand transparency about detainees,
to pressure for immediate medical care for the wounded,
and to prevent executions.
Do not abandon the people of Iran.

🧵The Iranian security forces’ attack on a hospital in Ilam, where injured protesters are seeking medical care or shelter violates international law and exposes yet again how far the Iranian authorities are willing to go to crush dissent. 1/6

The @bbcpersian documentary on internationally renowned Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti is a must watch.

Congratulations to @GissouNia, her legal team, @IHRDC and the survivors of the regime for filing this criminal complaint against more than 40 regime officials in Iran using Argentina’s universal jurisdiction to bring accountability and justice.

Paris (France) (AFP) – Iranian authorities are refusing to allow an independent medical examination of Nobel peace prize winner Narges Mohammadi after she was beaten during her arrest last week, her family said on Tuesday.
Her brother Hamid Reza Mohammadi, who lives in Norway, told reporters in Paris via video link that she had informed her other brother in Iran in a brief telephone call late on Sunday that police had beaten her with truncheons on her face, head and neck.

Women running a marathon without veils should never lead to arrests. Yet Iranian authorities have detained organisers and continue punishing women and girls resisting compulsory veiling.
Anyone arbitrarily detained in relation to compulsory veiling must be released.
Scores of people in Iran, including Babak Alipour, are at risk of execution following grossly unfair trials and convictions on politically-motivated charges by Revolutionary Courts. Iranian authorities must halt all executions now! #نه_به_اعدام 🔗https://t.co/bBOgDIZsMu
In Iran, a few words on a wall can cost you your life. Write something the regime disapproves of, and you’re arrested—then left to die in prison under any pretext. Enough of this killing spree. Enough of men in power deciding who gets to live and who must die. #somayeh_rashidi
❗️APPEAL❗️I call on all states with a Mediterranean port: SEND NAVIES NOW to protect the @gbsumudflotilla, escort it safely to Gaza, and BREAK THE SIEGE in what has become a ghetto of death! If not to stop a genocide, where people are being literally S.L.A.U.G.H.T.E.R.E.D, when?
I am gravely concerned about the safety of those on board the Global Sumud Flotilla, including one of my own constituents.
They are delivering aid to Palestinians, being starved to death by Israel.
Israel must drop its threats & smears, lift the siege and stop the genocide now.
