Some of you may recall the abhorrent Instagram video in which two FNPs performed liposuction on a patient using unsterile techniques. The fact that they were working happily and openly outside their SOP was not the only issue. https://t.co/DD6Jn7nvIO
Whatโs the status of healthcare in 2021?
Nurses with 500 hours of shadowing and 1-2 year online degrees think they can practice medicine better than doctors.
Donโt risk your familyโs health - ask for a physician.

Excellent article that highlights how corporations are systematically devaluing physicians in order to leech more and more money off of our hard work. Do not stop fighting against this abuse. You are far more valuable than they want you to believe.

Patients win when each member of their health care team plays the role they are educated and trained to play. That includes care led by physiciansโthe most highly educated, trained and skilled health care professionals. https://t.co/GPIGQvUKWZ #StopScopeCreep
Agree with the second sentence! I would love everybody to have access to healthcare they deserve. That's why we need to expand primary care residency spots and stop/reverse unsupervised practice for non-physicians! People deserve to be cared for by doctors who went to med school!
I am absolutely love the fake martyrdom the RNs, NPs and PAs are putting themselves through over that unmatched MD tweet.
Clearly it just meant unmatched MDs could work in a similar capacity. But, as usual, they canโt help but play the victim.
Itโs quite amusing.
@DrQuinn15 Misguided notion that you can save money by relegating medical care to non physicians. Unfortunately in these cases money might be saved simply because the patients might die before receiving lifesaving treatment.
Way to cheapen the accomplishments of actual women physicians, @UnivOfKansas
