@smlungpathguy I have done a lot of shot gun mass spec and see its high value in first of all reevaluating markers we are used to trust in diagnostics and further perform large cohorts analyses for all kind of carcinomas to identify more reliable combination of markers.
@DanielMiessler Useless model. The guard rails are so strict that it refuses to analyze my codebase and right away switches to opus 4.8 in the moment there is something about medicine mentioned in the codebase.
@_catwu Nice that you extended access. Unfortunately due to your very strict guard rails it is completely useless for me. I am working on a reporting software for surgical pathology which worked nice till opus 4.8. I fear that I will have to switch to 5.6 sol in the near future.. a pity!
@SchmidhuberAI It is a pity that none of these brilliant ideas ended up in an equivalent such as OpenAi with its homebase in Munich. Now, it seems to me we are further behind than ever. Do you think you were ahead of the time or is there not sufficient farsight and openness to new ideas in GER
@TheAhmadOsman Dear Ahmad, what in your opinion is the best local model for coding? Unfortunately I am GPU poor. So far have finetuned parakeet models for voice recognition on https://t.co/KNanrhzALY and deployed it with onnx on cpu. works very decent. Thanks for your reply. Best, Peer
@tunguz I tried to enhance the structured report template for my surgical pathology application and it did the same thing (switching to opus) which managed by the way to realize what I wanted. However the guardrails are far too strict. Ridiculous.
@atmoio For me it has a large benefit when try to build customized software solutions. It is the first that people of different professions are enabled to develop sophisticated pieces of software. You still have to do a lot of testing but tremendous productivity gains for yourself a. oth
@iScienceLuvr@somewheresy /5 instead a good camera such as those from Basler with a good sdk (pylon) in conjunction with ai based image analysis is the better choice and should be intimately linked to the reporting module to keep it as easy for the end user as possible.
@iScienceLuvr@somewheresy /3 Effective text to speech is one key to accelerate diagnostics in pathology. Scanning images and AI based analysis of these is not the solution as it is resource intensive and should stay an option for remote diagnostics.
@iScienceLuvr@somewheresy /2 There are approaches to get AI incorporated but these are heavily based on the google ecosystem flutter, Gemini and so on and heavily cloud based. Others reinvent the wheel creating new html editors to create a vendor lock-in instead of using available tools.
@iScienceLuvr@somewheresy I would also agree that most EHR software are ass. I am a surgical pathologist in Germany and the issue is that switching between the computer and the microscope is tedious. The computer should be in the background and your companion.
@Karl_Lauterbach Stichwort Digitalisierung.
