Guess what all 28 sponsors and authors had in common - not political party. They were all women. Not one male author or sponsor. Representation matters.
“I think that if even just one person sees these billboards and has a conversation about the messages conveyed, then we would have made a difference in our community.”
- Shaneice Brown from @VOICESCorp - a young leader and designer of the violence prevention billboard campaign.
Today is the day!
For months, our office has been working with four young adults in @VOICESCorp, and Raegan Outdoor Advertising to design and install violence prevention billboards across Indianapolis.

Game On! Today I filed for re-election as Prosecutor.
I want to see a system that is fair and a city where everyone can feel safe.
Our community deserves a public safety leader committed to finding solutions with the experience to back up those ideas.

In 2021, we had over 50 employees volunteer for Community Service Days. It was an honor and pleasure to serve our community by helping with neighborhood cleanups, laundry services, and foods drives.
We look forward to meeting more community members in 2022!
Hate has no place in Indianapolis — yet incidents of hate still happen here. We hope to shed light on this issue by amplifying local voices and encouraging residents to report hate crimes.
In this video, our neighbors have graciously shared their experiences with bias incidents:

Tonight I am honored to join Imam Alamine and Hiba Alami from @IMANAssociates in a discussion about the impact of hate crimes in the Indianapolis Muslim community.
We are still looking for three and four bedroom apartments or rental homes for some large families that are arriving soon! If you have any leads, please reach out to Tom at [email protected]!
We are excited to host a community discussion about hate crimes in the Muslim community.
The discussion will focus on how hate crimes can affect the entire community and how elected officials respond to these actions.

“Neither hate nor violence should ever be accepted in our community. For the nearly 400 women and men of the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, our choice is simple to see those impacted, to stand up to hate, and to seek justice.” - @ryanmearsindy

Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears is working to combat hate in Indianapolis by launching a new hate crimes hotline.
This new hotline provides an opportunity for individuals to report if they have either experienced or witnessed a potential hate crime. https://t.co/L0ykGJDO0T
Hate crimes often go unreported due to the intimidating nature in which the crime was committed or other barriers for communicating with law enforcement.
We want to bridge that gap.
Call our new Hate Crimes Hotline (317-327-5314) to get connected with a trained Victim Advocate.
With the federal eviction moratorium expiring, it’s more important than ever for renters to know their rights. Have questions? Call the tenant hotline at 317-327-2228 for assistance. Behind on rent? You might qualify for rental assistance—go to https://t.co/Dj2PUx8u36
