Thank you to @beagleboardorg, Ideas On Board, @Pengutronix, and Savoir-faire Linux (@SFLinux) for giving us the ingredients we need to make this another great edition of Embedded Recipes! 🧑🍳

RAUC 1.9 has been released! 🚀
It introduces a new bundle inspection D-Bus API, a manifest hash to make identifying bundles easier, improves support for custom meta data, and much more.

This is @firefox using my camera over @PipewireP. I backported all the @webrtc changes contributed by Michael Olbrich from @pengutronix and with some minor tweaks I made to work. It still need some work, but it's really promising.
Are you tired of proprietary products that miss just a little feature, or have just a little bug, and you cannot do anyting? With Open Source + Open Hardware, it's different. Our new blogpost shows a nice example.

Now on our youtube channel at @Pengutronix:
"We've got realtime networking at home" - Why many systems are moving to TSN so slowly

Unser neuer Podcast "Kernel Panic - Board on Fire" ist da - mit der Folge "Speculative Execution und ein Execute Never Bit". Da sind Horror und Grusel garantiert!

This afternoon I will deliver my talk
„We’ve got realtime networking at home“ – Why many systems are moving to TSN so slowly
at #netdev0x16 in Lisbon.
It will be a blast to talk about how to #makeNetworkRealtimeAgain
The @rauc_updater framework does image based updating to ensure testability. But in many real-life projects, most of the system stays constant, while the application changes. @microblocker's new blogpost explains the new "adaptive updating" mechanism:

The RAUC talk by @Microblocker at #lfelc has now been published on YouTube by @linuxfoundation.
It explains the background and new possibilities offered by the "verity" bundle format (such as streaming support, bundle encryption or adaptive updates).

RAUC 1.8 has been released! 🚀
It comes with "adaptive updates" that allow saving download bandwidth, adds support for atomic bootloader updates on Rockchip RK3568, supports desync as a casync alternative and much more.

Yay, my talk "We've got realtime networking at home - why many systems are moving to TSN so slowly" has been accepted for netdevcon 0x16.
Join me in Lisbon to learn more about misconfigured switches, proprietary stacks and QoS from hell...
