🇧🇫 Just In: A strategic bridge was inaugurated this morning by Burkina Faso's Prime Minister, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

The bridge is located on the road that links Ouagadougou to the country's second-largest city, Bobo-Dioulasso.

Every year, that section of the road used to be submerged several times due to heavy rains during the rainy season. This would cut off the road for extended periods, severely disrupting the transportation of people and goods between the country's two major cities. Fixing this problem is a major achievement for the government. Congrats 👏

No investment, no foreign investment or man power in the construction, just ordinary Africans coming together and doing extraordinary things.

Awoja Treatment Plant improvements

2. New 454.5m³ Clarifier - 100% complete and operational.
3. New 18m² Rapid Filter - 100% complete and operational.
4. 34.65m³ Flocculator - 100% complete and in use.
5. 13.5km bulk transmission main - 100% complete.
6. Intake suction line installed - 100% complete.
