Responding to frequent accidents, traffic police recommendations, and demands from local representatives, organisations, and citizens, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has commenced the removal of hazardous debris from the closed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) section. The Gokhale Institute reported the need for removal in the Parnkuti, Yerwada, to Phoenix Mall, Vimannagar section of the Pune-Nagar highway, which was closed due to ongoing metro work.
