@ChristinaBetas @michellemosier Being able to pray on one's own shows how deep one's faith is to one. It does not need to be shown off. Praying together as a community is what Jesus wants also, but also growing in prayer as an individual is as important.

@michellemosier I learned about how Jesus desired mercy and not sacrifice. This was demonstrated in Jesus' call to Matthew. In Matt. 9:9-13 we learned how Jesus would eat dinner with sinners and tax collectors which showed how He wanted sinners and we are all not perfect. #QOTW12 #drmtheo111

@MichaelaHenric1 @michellemosier It was strong of her to go for what she thought was right. She was independent and made her own deals on her own. This was different because in many stories it is the men leaving the women

@JannaRaeber @michellemosier Tamar went against the norm and did what she wanted to. In society at the time, women were seen as accessories to men. I think Tamar was aggravated and wanted to do something for herself which was to just have her own sons.

@Daniell95495660 @michellemosier Yes, both Adam and Eve were tempted. We also learned that Adam started to blame God which was surprising. It showed how God also gave us free will.

@JuliaConnerrr @michellemosier Yes, this analysis was very interesting and something I did not know. It showed us that sometimes you have to interpret what the scripture means. It is not always literal.
