@MichaelDnes1 Presume work has been done on this, but…..what about portable chargeable chargers? That can be put into a car, securely, that is parked on the street.
@NationJames@ArchieHall I thought a lot of the big announcements were for the Spring. For local government, funding distribution and business rates baselines are thr the big decisions to come and will have a significant impact. Agree - everyone wants improvements asap.
The main reason is demographics.
Ageing populations everywhere mean more older people living longer lives (read: more healthcare use) and being supported by fewer young people.
So the healthcare bill (where most tax revenue is spent) is rising virtually everywhere.
@NationJames Not just council tax. Hard to do a multi-year settlement for local government without looking at business rates baselines. Although that may wait to next year, when a multi-year settlement is expected
